THe 16/32/64 gig versions have a better processor, and uses Open GL/ES 2.0 which makes game or any graphic work on touch even faster (50% more faster)

The 3rd Gen is faster, but only in the higher capacities (32/64 GB). The 8 GB is still the same.

The 3rd gen has a faster processor.

@revealingroserade the amount of storage does not affect the speed of any kind of electronic device. only memory and processor speed makes the difference, and, in the case of this vide, they were both fairly tested with no large factors except the processor.

@itechnologytoday Well, it'll affect the speed, but it certainly won't make one faster than another. If a device's storage memory is almost full to capacity then the device generally will run slower, but having more in general won't speed it up.

what i like about the 1g physically is that its a little bit smaller than the 3g, it has a black border frame around the screen instead of the shiny chrome one that the 3g has, and the back isnt rounded, but the 3g still wins =P

I dnt know if anyone has noticed this but actually the 1st gen(probably 2nd gen too) are faster with closing the apps than the 3rd gen! For example Safari in 2:05 he pressed home button at same time but 1st gen closed faster, right?! Thats pretty weired... :S (I hav 3rd gen nd 1st gen too) :P
