  • Start making anime! !

  • What future do you have in animation art. Are there manny jobs available in this line of work?

  • Wooooah, I hope to get that good one day! My studies are almost done and I'm not even near of that perfection!

  • Excellent timing and animation

  • I enjoyed the pencil version of both "the Penguin" from BATMAN TAS and "Mrs. Brisby" from the "Secret of Nimh"! Also the limping walk cycle looked pretty neat! Viewers of this might find my hand drawn fantasy animated videos, BALDER'S EGG, THE MAGIC ARROWS, THE COLOSSEUM, and THE BLACK WIDOW that I made interesting! They have dialog, narration, and fantasy characters on my channel page on you tube!

  • This is truly magical stuff.

  • the limping man is my favorite out of this bunch.

  • 1:13 ... God bless him! xD

  • OMG ITS MRS. BRISBY!!!!!! I LOVE U MAN!!!!!!!

  • What are some of the basic prerequisites for attending Gobelins, if you don't mind me asking?

  • how much experience with drawing did you have prior to making this

  • @thatfaggitkane I was 23 back then, and I had done 3 years of art scool training and was my first year at gobelins

  • @tequit oh alright, well done

  • :o super, * _ * j'adore! j'ai trop hate d'étudier dans une école d'animation!

  • wow your animations smooth as hell

  • Cool!! I like Penguins appearance :)

  • Why hasn't disney hired this dude yet!? This is some awesome Animation you have here (I can only do simple rotoscoping on Pencil software :L)

  • <3 mrs frisby

  • WOWWWWWWWW AWESOME STUFF ! perfect timing in everything.

  • Incredibly relaxing vid. o.o

  • that was great!!!!

  • What a way to "Go" with the animation!

  • First thing that comes to my mind is "I could show this to crack addicts and feak'em the fuck out"

  • most of it is 24frames/sec otherwise its 12fr/sec. i did al that a wile ago, I can't be more specific sorry!

  • @tequit To be clearer, the issue of frames per second is an established standard of either 24 or 30 fps for playback. While digital can vary this, in simple terms for animating, we need to clarify that 24 fps here means one drawing per frame to equal one second at at 24 frame rate. 12f/sec means animating on "twos," or shooting/scanning each drawing for two frames, or animating half the frame rate and doubling the exposures to equal the frame rate.

  • nice.. may i ask what is your frame rate?

  • wow for once ive finally seem some creativity in an animation , yes yo can draw well too , but an interesting subject is so important and not some cheeezy love story well done, great creativity and great drawing / animating skill interesting thankyou !!

  • you're an amazing animator

  • PPPPHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... i can do that...

  • Likeeeee this.

  • I have to say, you are one of the best I have seen. Do you any advice for an aspiring animator? It would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hey, is the walking cycle from 1:18 - 1:26 not Yasmine's father from the Disneyfilm Alladin? It really looks like it :P

  • @gewoonayoub penis head

  • @911zhira911 fucktard :)

  • We used mostly after effects, from Adobe. Idon't know what you mean by raster based!

  • @tequit Raster based means that the image is presented in horizonal scan lines as with analog televisions instead of digtal pixals as in contemporary video. Raster lines break up the line definition into jagged impressions where digital pixals recalculate to retain the original resolution as the image is enlarged or reproduced.

  • hello. just wanted to know what 2d animation software is used at gobelins for compositing. is it raster based?

  • Excellent!!

  • thanks to all !!!! visit my blogg >_<

  • @tequit Sweeettt! You should link your blog in discription so you dont have to type it out

  • So professional, extremely smooth and the movements have been animated with a keen-eye, small details that made it outstandingly good.

And I'm not sure if you do this or know this, but some look double framed, which is hard to get to look right, but you master it perfectly

The most impressive one was the man walking around the corner and then sneezing

  • @Waldrouk thank`s very much, it is all old stuff but it is nice to still get positive comment! i liked your Project Retribution video, the timing is amasing!! great work ;)

  • These are amazing animations. Nice work.

  • lol froggerr is wat the frog reminded me of

  • really really nice. i am impressed

  • Very impressive!

  • very dope man, keep it up

  • Is most of your work filmed on 1's or 2's? We were always told to film on 2's at my school, but 1's have always looked better. Just wondering what a school like Gobelins teaches.

  • This shits pshycedelic man!

  • awesome music.

  • great..CREATIVITY ALIVE..CiAo

  • that Secret of Nihm part made my day. [x

  • 1:11 is the best

  • Comment removed

  • @tequit Excellent, what school are you enrolled in?

  • @HDibbles thank`s, i gess that this is a retorical question, and a nice compliment ;) the answer is, like every body in kindergarden! i just didn`t stop

  • 1:28 looks like the anime movie, Akira.

  • @TheHotdogjacker yes it does!

  • OSWALD *D

<3 him and your animations *________*

  • yo dude! Awesome stuff, the weight and volumes of these characters are really nice.

How old were you in first year if you dont mind me asking.

  • @wildgrem thank's! I was 22years old back then.

  • daaang, the animation is sooooo good. very professional.

  • Holy crap that is good. if only image quality was higher.

  • Woaw! Trop bien avec Brisby a la fin!! 8D

  • very nice animation and acting cooooollll man its look like disney animations very good

  • Beautiful!

  • I hear the French animation schools are hard to get into. I can see why if you're only a first year.

  • just beautiful. very inspiring stuff

  • Omg, first year of studyng animation? this is awesome

  • what software is this?

  • what soft!? it can be made with any software that can put a sequance of images one after an other. ex after-effects, premiere, CTP, etc...

  • @arc1342

It's called talent, skill, dedication, and hard work. What a dumbass. It's like going up to Kobe Bryant and asking him what software he uses to win NBA championships. Fucking idiot.

  • @arc1342 it was done with pencil, the pro-version of Apple quicktime player is $20 and can compile jpg (most any file type) sequences if they are numbered in the correct order it will automatically stack them and play back the movie, then you have the option of saving it.

  • Ca pete vieux!

  • you might to think of working on your four legged character walks a little more, otherwise super job!

  • The one at 1:10 is my favorite - very expressive body movements. :)

  • Awesoome!! whats the name of the song??

  • i can't realy remember, but i think i took it from the film snatch!

  • @tequit

    I love snatch :P

  • the snake one and the frog one are really really impressive!

  • omg the walking cycles are amazing!!!!!

  • Brilliant work man!

  • Excellent work, especially loved the tiled floor/snake/whatever thing.

  • why at the end where they speaking french???

  • yes it's because i am french, i did those exercises at gobelins school in paris!

  • Paris? I've been there :D It's a beautiful city, but you French people can drive crazy as hell o__o

    Back to the subject x'D

Nice animations by hand, the most look quite fluent, even though you made this in your first year ^^

(And I couldn't understand any French word with that conversation with the mouse.. Oh well, it isn't my best language anyway Ö)

  • WTF?! This is purely EPIC :D

  • One day I wish to be an animator. That requires a lot of talent and patience. I think your work is very good, and is rewarded with talent.

  • awum animations... love them all.. sweet work! :]

  • To learn the prosses ov good animation, the best is still Richard Williams's book (soon in dvd's) "The animator's survival kit", and work! To shoot the drawings i use a fixed web-cam or scanner, and the program CTP( not the gratest) after effects can also work, so can photophop with it's new mode: animation!!!

  • what program please.....T_T

  • lol

  • yeah lol jajaja

  • lol = shocked

  • LOLOLOLOLOL lol lol wtf

    xD ID :D XP lol

  • anybody know what are the programs that the proffesional animation persons use, to do stuff like pokemon, dragon ball z....etc all that kind of hice 2d programs?? and what is the process of making an animation??

  • im not sure wot pokemon and dragon ballz animators use, but i use stop motion pro. pretty standard and easy to use piece of software. :)

  • Akira!!

  • it's from an old disney movie...

thank's everyone for your great commentaries, I will try to put a new vidéo of my work soon!)

  • Actually, it's NOT a Disney movie. It was a Don Bluth movie. The name of the movie is "The Secret of NIMH".

  • The mouse at the end looks so familar to me but I can't remember where. Did you create it or was it from a movie?

  • amazing!!

  • Loved it! Very Entertaining.xXx

  • I'm so incredibly jealous of the Gobelins program. You actually get instruction! I'm at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and comparatively, its a joke.

Its great to see that someone is setting the standard high. Keep up the 2D!
