for people who do not understand if this was legal. The offense of a team is only allowed one forward per play and can lateral it however times they want to. If Romo sort of threw it further forward Witten would have to run it or lateral it.

You wanna see this play run right.. go back to how the steelers did it in the 05 season. Scored on it 2 times with nobody within 15 yards of the receiver. Dallas was lucky to complete it with how sloppy it actually was.

it was probably Witten and Romo drawing a play up in the sand. I am a fan of DAllas, and the whole Romo witten controversy, which was way overblwon by Ed Werder, the whole deal was Owens never got the ball cause Romo was throwing to his best friend, Witten, and now we see that Romo can make both happy.

Not a fan of either team, and I saw Philly whip their sorry asses, but this was a great play by Romo and Witten. Witten was alert enough to realize Romo threw him a backwards pass and saw Owens just standing there.
