On guitar-Howard Scott, drums-Harold Brown, bass-BB Dickerson, harmonica-Lee Oskar. Still KILLING IT to this day, with this and THEIR other great WAR songs but now known as the LOWRIDER BAND. RIP Charles Miller-sax and Papa Dee- conga. Hoping some day, baby brother on keyboards-Lonnie Jordan, will make it right and reunite with his brothers.

The last time saw this funky,fantastic guys,was 2010 at the Hatch Shell in Boston(thanx to Oldies 103.3) and they are still phenomenal!! Lee Oskar is still a spaz! These guys jammed for 2 hours straight never missing a beat or note! They are my all-time favorite from the 70s Lee introduced each & every member where they were from,and how they hooked up,Man,they sound as great as they did back in the day!! Gotta see them all again soon!!

He currently tours with 3 other original band members from WAR, Howard Scott, Harold Brown and BB Dickerson but they have to use the name THE LOWRIDER BAND because THEIR WAR name was stolen years ago by a lowdown ex-producer of theirs and they have been trying for years to get THEIR WAR name back. The only one in the "new War" is keyboardist Lonnie Jordan. Saxophonist Charles Miller and percussionist Papa Dee Allen have made their transitions to the next plane. The other four guys are the Low Rider Band. Yeah, there's only ONE original member in War today.
