i know its not best to look for pads online, but i only have 540$ and on ebay it says p3 9k and then they're are several 9ks but they look the exact same with the design are those 9ks considered p3's too..
how did you find the break-in of the pad? How much stiffness does it keep, and what spots does it stay stiff? I use a double knee break, but I am considering doing no breaks on my next pad, so I wanted to see how stiff it stays after break-in
@whitestripe15 the +1 or +2 means your thigh rise is 1 or 2 inches higher then it would normally be. good for butterfly style goalies. I have the p3 9 k's 34+1 and I wish I had gotten 34+2's. it helps close the 5hole better. yes the 9 k's feel very nice and were alot cheaper too.
I just got the 9k's after owning two sets of Lefevre Pro pads in the past which were quite pricy, and they are literally identical to the Premier 3's with the exception of the boot channel, and nearly $1000 cheaper!!!
@xXTpArEnTXx it all depends on your legs man. some people have long legs and are 5'10 and some are shorter then others. I'm 5'7 and I wear 34+1's and I would wear 34+2's no prob. everyone dif and dif company's have dif sizes too. I held the new bauer x50 stick today against a reebok one and they were the same size. reebok was 26" and the bauer was a 28 1/2" one. they're all dif man. just go with what works for you.
i have a queshtin... i put my first strap in the 4th hole put the rest r as tite ass i can get them is that a good thing mesig me and let me no... o and i play rolloer so is that differnt
The white pad against white ice point isnt valid for most situations because the crease paint is blue XD But if you're out of your crease or challenging or something yeah sure but not for most cases.
These pads are the best i have them in fluery colors. Thig boards are illigel and way i recoment the reebok knee pads expensive but worth it. These pads close flush nothing there even if you forget to put your stick on the ice the pads will shut the whole. They are very light and dont let out huge rebounds like other vaughns. I have never used vaughns but just from watching other goalies. Really comfortable pads. Best pads i have ever had. They are better than anything else.
they fucked up with the blocker, that extra padding on the thumb is a little too much, i cant seem to hold my stick the right way without that piece being in the way...
hey i was wondering how you change the placement of the straps on them i just got new 9k int. pads and want to see what theya re like change lower or higher
Well no they are not too big, it's just they will feel that way for the first few ice sessions, which happends with all new pads. And the Reebok pad in my opinion is designed totally different from most other brands of pads, but getting used to your new pads will take time. When you have broken in the pads and get used to them, trust me you will like what you see.
Hey i just ordered some P3's and i was just wondering if you think 33+2 will be the right size for me. Im 5'6.5-7". Thanks. Cant wait to get mine also order a glove and blocker to go with it. Its gunna take 6-12 weeks to get here
well that was constructive. What was the point in that? reealy... Do you feel tough? Pat yourself on the back big guy, you just dissed a 17 year old you don't know, for no reason, through the internet.. Cudos.
i ahve these peices of crap mission pads and i am stuck on rbk p3's with the turco flex the 8k with the turco flex Vaughn 7200 and nike bauer one 75 can you help me out man? money is deffinatly a problem they cant be to much money
Vaughn neglects their lower lines and they will not last; Reebok and Bauer are no different; you get what you pay for. However, that being said if you are only on ice once or twice a week the reebok 8ks will serve their purpose. I reccomend them (not because i wear reebok) because they are a basic, no frills, str8 to business pad.
The Reeboks are fantastic, but I`m not going to tell you you will like them. You very well may not. That being said, the vamps were similiar to the box style of the reeboks. You will probably be comfortable in them.
first of all....vamps are shit, get rid of them as fast as you can, stay away from sherwood, they are shit, all itech equipment is shit except their helmets, so stay away from itech, tps is shit and takes a long fucking time to break in, you can still get the koho 590's from some dealers who still have kept them, 590's i would recommend, or premier 2s, because they are similiar to the koho 590s
Eh not true buddy. I'm 6'3" myself. I just got the 35+2's and they fit PERFECT. I had a pair of 34" simmons that I bought cheap years ago and they were a bit short but that's because they didn't have the added length over the knee. I put those on and they were awesome. Perfect 5-hole coverage.
Put a softball or a bunch of pucks in the pocket, and put tape/rope/string/skate lace around it to shut it. And keep it that way until before you get to the arena. Open and close it many times before you hop on the ice.
No theyre the opposite. These are for true butterfly goalies. If you like reebok though go with the xpulse series. If you got any other questions reply or something i know my stuff on equipment
Haha no I dont have xpulse pads. I have premere 2 pads, xpulse series are good for hybrids. Thats suprising, do you have pro series, or one of the lower end models?
(xxgoaliexx) the pro is better built with more support at the knee. plus thats what the pros were (thats how they got there name) there just a flat out better pad
i have the same ones i too didnt like the thigh boards they would get under my pants when in the butterfly sometimes and on recovery the leg with the thigh board would get stuck haha really helped switching then out for something smaller
Buy them! i have the same colors as his. Really good, solid pad, that offers alot of flexibility and its super light weight. I looked and tried several different styles, but these really took the other ones hands down. The support when you in the butterfly is really good and protective, i have a set of soft knee pads which i use also and they are fine with enough room. The thigh boards are a hit or miss, either you like them or dont. mine are still attached for alittle added protection.
I am selling my premier 3 7k pads along with another set of vintage classic pre-lockout Spade design ROY pads. I am also selling basically all my goalie equipment. I have pics if interested or know somebody who is. Priced insanely low
lol at the begining of the video when you showed yourself making the butterfly i though you wer a nhl goalie ( you seem like an awsome goalie ) ive got 2 questions , is it easyer to stand up from butterfly on rollerblades or goalie skates am 13 years old and i weight 163 ( i kno its a lit =( am working on it lol ) i have 1300 dollars do you think ill have enought to buy the hole set ( with the rbk premier series 3 ) ? please answer me back and good luck in your hockey carrer
thanks for the compliment man, and 1300 would be pushing it to get the whole set. I reccomend getting these pads and then lower end blocker and catcher and saving some money that way. Also, buy online, they will be cheaper. I have never played roller hockey, but know on ice you can really dig your skates in to stand up.
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! this guy knows wut hes talking about, i have the pads, and there fucking awsome, they are very flexible, and there lite. the reason for the wide leg channel is for better rotation. whoever says these pads suck r fucking retarted, and they havnt tried the pads on, RBK RUNS THE SHOW FUCKHEADS!!!!!!!!!!

Buy them! i have the same colors as his.

Priced insanely low

thanks for the compliment man, and 1300 would be pushing it to get the whole set. I reccomend getting these pads and then lower end blocker and catcher and saving some money that way. Also, buy online, they will be cheaper. I have never played roller hockey, but know on ice you can really dig your skates in to stand up.
