i think u have the best alfredo sauce recipe on youtube. ive tried other recipes and i think your recipe taste the best. do u have any other posted videos
@Timbit8888888 he did that because he started with olive oil. I use only butter, it goes in first. I also don't understand what is supposed to be "deglazed" here, and the wine is clearly not part of alfredo. Alfredo is easy. Melt a bunch of butter, saute garlic if you're adding it, add cream, stirring constantly...heat to simmer, whisk in cheese SLOWLY and you won't get lumps, s&p to taste. I do the whole thing over medium heat. She may have used too high a heat and dumped the cheese in.
@readynow12345 you finish mostly every pan sauce with butter, it gives it a nice, rich, deep flavor, and also helps give it a smooth, glossy consistency
@gsrulov contrary to the media blitz to sell crappy products, fat has never made anyone fat.
but if i wanna sell 1 oz of yogurt, filled with a bunch of chemicals and stick low fat on it, i'm gonna make damn sure i put commercials telling you how horrible fat is for you. hey people actually fell for it. *sigh*
@shakaama hi Shakaama,. You are right about the chemicals, it can cause alot of problems. But on the other hand there is new research that shows that diabetes is caused by an inflamation in the fat cells. And the more fatty foods you eat, the more these fat cells grow.
@gsrulov ok i do this for my living actually, that is reveal the lies that pharmaceuticals and food industry corps put out. there hasn't been an innocent empirical study since the 40s. yes the 40s. they are all paid for these days. Diabetes is directly related and caused by sugars, not fats. Anyone that tells you different is lying. in fact they should turn in all their credentials. in fact they should be sued, turn in their credentials and the lab closed.
@gsrulov sugar, not fat. simple carbs cause blood sugar to spike. You get fat from eating too much sugar (tons of cals per oz). Fat cells are fat cells...they grow because you take in more cals than you burn...can be from any source. You are mixing disparate info together into a toxic soup. Less sugar, less stress, more exercise=healthier.
This was very helpful. Thank you.

Wait why do you put the butter in last? I always thought you put butter in first? Can someone please explain? Or does it even matter?

I just made your Alfredo sauce and I am in love. This recipe was very simple with lots of flavor. I am not going back to jar alfredo. ^_^

no butter? i don't get it. remove the olive oil and replace it with unsalted butter. Much better for you and tastes 10 times better.
