nutn, can you give me the specs of it? ( blade length, thickness, handle length) I've been looking for a while, but can't find them. I know you did a review, but uit's set to private.
nothing against the maker, but a good forged knife will beat a stock removal knife any day. ive had hundreds of knives and its always the case. not to mention stock removal knife makers usually dont harden or temper their knives, they pay a company to do it. and the company does it wrong.
Wow...interesting blade. Does it move fast in the hand? I knew fellows in central america that were cutting pieces off some Seal Survival bowies they picked up inorder to reduce the total weight they had to haul around. Still , I think if you don't mind the weight, it looks like it might be a great camp knife. I'll have to watch some more vids here.....might go on my list of equipment to pick up in the near future.....
@opawari fitzen has a website, but youtube wont let me post it so just go to his channel page, fitzenknives, but dont have a heart attack when you see the price, i believe $525
dude i like where csn i get one froM and how much coz at the moment im running on an old winchster buck and it really isnt good for me i want something with a little more weight to it :)
This is vert true, knife on knife fights are very rare. However, having a Spanish notch doesn't hurt the blade and it is still one more good thing to have "just in case."
In a free and just society, people could throw a katana on their back and not catch any grief for it. Atleast in some states you can still carry a bowie.
Muela Scorpian 26cm double edged with tempered and rust resistant steel and a titanium tip=) aswell as a serrated edge, and when i go goat or deer hunting, i use a 308. or 303, depending on what i feel like, takes too long to take a boar down with a bullet even 10 yards away with 2 12 gauge shells it took over 1 minute, gotta go for the back of the neck by the shoulderblade to get it in the heart, bottom of the back of the neck is the softest part of a pigs body just fat and very little muscle=D
Well, I for one wouldn't consider ever voluntarily trying to take down a boar with a knife. I don't care how big a knife it is, either.
I know boars are some pretty tough buggers, but it seems like the proper round and good shot placement seems like it would clear the problem up (not trying to imply that you're a bad hunter/marksman).

nah i do it for more of a rush, its amazing, with a gun you got some but its a dwarf compared to knife/bow hunting=) and yeah i know a good shot can take one out, i generally used to aim for the eyes, but they usually a running and walking around, and u cant get too close with em with a rifle, they will try and gore you, with knife hunting its smart to bring like 2-3 dogs to pin it down for a beginner and later on just u or afew friends, its an awesome rush, every pig is differant
"but the chinese swords are just too weak for a real fight, against other close range weapons." You must be referring to modern pieces. The real Chinese weapons are as good as they get.
For the weight IMO it's too short & too slow for a fighting application. It's good for chopping though. Just too much mass to move with any speed. I mean, U can get a trail master for easily less than half the weight & over 3 inches more reach & still have plenty of mass for chopping so I just don't see the appeal other than the 'wow' appeal.
This is so stupid... But i love my mom deeply... And i don't want to take any chances. Sorry. If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours
The "hole" at the bottom of the blade sometimes known as the "Spanish notch" similar to the gurhka knife is used to hook on to the skin and jugular vain of your enemy's throat (normally if you attack from behind) as you slit their neck. From the looks of these knives being so close to the guard it is probably used for breaking/ cutting barbed wire/or other cable and for design that helps to make the knife a bit lighter.
Lol, I think the blade is used for cutting someones throat. If Im not mistaken, the cut out is for grabbing another blade and breaking it off or levering it out of someones hand. Pretty fucking gay and nonfunctional, kind of like most spaniards I know so yeah, spanish notch....jugular vein and all that.

It's called a Spanish notch, it is for catching and controlling another blade in a knife fight.

@mojothemigo hmm, i'm not knife fighter but I wouldn't imagine that in a knife fight the blades clash much, as in a sword fight.
