  • love this song, if only they could use this trio more often... wouldn't it be grand if Disney did an entire film focusing on the adventures of the Caballeros, saving people or such, man I'd love to see Disney do that someday.

  • Why does Panchito remind me of Desi Arnaz from I Love Lucy?

  • Hello! the comment-police is back, so I'll allow them again~

Have fun to ur heart's content! (as long as u keep it clean.. I'll still be erasing all comments with implications to the "gay"-word. which, to remind u all, meant "happy" in the old days when this movie was made)

  • Panchito is boss

  • Panchito sounds like Ricky Ricardo.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!! :D

    my fave disney trio :)

  • Interesting.

Joaquin Garay had an accent closer to Spanish than mexican in this song. The way we pronounces J, C and S at the end of words, and the English "th"is how Spanish people do it.

I wonder if mexicans spoke Spanish with that accent back in 40's, or if he's an exception.

  • Before anyone gets the wrong idea when the rooster says 'gay', he means happy. NOT the other version. This is just to keep immature jokes (which I'm sure a lot of you did). And thanks @JannyBeeGood for helping explain that

  • My right ear is lonely

  • @Kingdomhearts427 is there a voice-problem? x.x

  • This great song was written by Manuel Esperón, the best musician of the 30's and 40's, he won many awards in his lifetime, inlcuding Premio Nacional de Ciencias y Artes, as well as Ariel's and many more. Walkt Disney invited him to participate in this movie after seeing his succes in making music for mexican cinema. You can find a link to this movie on Wikipedia

  • Use to watch this as a kid love it

  • I'm 22 and i watched this when i was like 6 or something, but i watched it like a hundred times in a week. My parents said i was obsessed, to the point of them being worried and hiding the movie from me. I had no fucking idea until today it was from the 1940s. WOW. my brain blew out of my head when i heard that.

  • This was my FAVORITE Disney movie when I was little!!!

  • Panchito is win :D

  • Jose is the Brazilian Bad-Ass! Awesome!!

  • This song has always been one of my childhood favorite songs. I wonder who plays Panchito as a voice actor and his singing voice.

  • lol i watched this movie pretty much every day as a kid. but none of my friends have ever heard of it -.-' lol

  • @tajallegirl enlighten their dull minds with some memories of past times, by introducing them this adorable trio~ ^^ lol

  • Man this takes me back. I just read 2 comics today that had these 3 meeting up again. Disney needs to make a new movie with them in it.

  • @Orochi2345678 could they have been the two comics of Don Rosa? (am a big fan ^^ lol)

  • 2:00 Are they trying to kill Panchito?

  • WHAT ARE SERAPES???

  • LA VERSION EN ESPANOL ESTA CHINGONA!!!

    XDDDDDDD

  • "Oh what a gay time we shall have! And I do mean gay as in festive, not as in penetration of the bum!"

    Pockets - South Park

  • wow, this Mexican song is called "JALISCO, no te rajes" is like 100yrs. old and still very popular all over the world, because is excelent.

  • I love 0:45 with the "We say so"

  • I NEED TO KNOW WHAT AYE CARAMBA MEANS!!! I MUUUUUUUST!!! O_O

  • @nmisa I think it's just an expression of a strong emotion in general. I might be wrong, though.. x.x'

  • Jalisco is a mexican state for those of you that may not know that.

  • Panchito is one of best!! XD

  • I miss this movie! i cant believe i still have it on VHS cassette. Best movie of all time.

    Ps. im 13

  • I thought the right speaker of my headset was broken, then I later knew this video was the problem.... Love the Vibrato!!! LoL (^_^)(^ ^,)

  • HOW CAN HE HOLD IT FOR THAT LONG! Well, i can nearly do it, but i get blue

  • and pals so we say be

    when some latin baby

    says yes, no or maybe

    *whistles*

    EACH MAN IS FOR HIMSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELF!

that part ALWAYS cracks me up!

  • haha donald couldnt fly at the beginning. i still love this

  • nothing very interesting in this movie except this song...

  • Panchito and Jose both have such amazing singing voices... but without a doubt Donald has the best one. ;-)

  • I just have to say this... I'M SICK OF THE STUPID SHOWS ON DISNEY CHANNEl LIKE HANNAH MONTANA AND JONAS!!! I WANT THE OLD DISNEY BACK!! I WANT MORE DISNEY MOVIES THAT MAKE ME CRY WHEN I WATCH THEM LIKE THE LION KING AND POCAHONTAS!! I'M SURE THAT IF WE BROUGHT BACK THE ORIGINAL DISNEY, OUR SOCIETY WOULD CHANGE! So if you agree with me, do anything you can like spread the word, copy and paste this everywhere, or even make a petition online!! BRING BACK THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!!!!

  • I loooooved this as a kid.

Ahww heck, I love it now! Timeless classic. Donald is such a goof!

  • i no that the red bird is Panchito Pistolas and the duck is Donald Duck (duh). But wat is Jose's last name

  • @clubpengufan3321 Carioca.

  • I still have this whole movie memorized. It never left the VCR when I was little

  • Gay=Happy,Yeah Doesn't work anymore....

  • what movie is this from

  • I watched this as a very small child on VHS, but it was like a tape with only music on it in the beginning, and then goes on to some stuff that's just plain humor.

  • Old time classic. In fact, this tune reminds me of my first time in Mexico.

  • I have watched this movie ever since I was like 3 years old. It brings back great memories of me and my youth!

BUT; I very understood the end of this song. Were they trying to kill him?

  • Yeah I've seen many birds of the feather like these three.

  • Thanks for this--I love the song, and I ADORE Panchito!!! Too bad Disney never did anything else with that character (correct me if I'm wrong; I'd love to be wrong on this), because he has to be one of the most charming ever to come out of that studio. In fact, if it weren't inappropriate to say about an animated rooster, I'd say Panchito had a lot of s3x appeal. ;-)

P.S. I really appreciate the subtitles, especially for "Jalisco no te rajes". Now I can sing along with the whole song!

  • @tobian84 ur welcome~ ^^ I don't think Disney himself did anything more with Panchito, but I know for a fact there r comics abt him.

  • Love this movie - STILL!

  • aww dere soo cute!!

  • I need to show this to my friend Luis XD

  • Does anyone know what he is saying in spanish at the end?

  • Three happy cappy's! 0:35

  • This is the song of my childhood.

  • @10INTM ?

  • @Terra151 dont feel bad, i've fallen for Jose

  • PANCHITO IS EPIC!!

  • SNAPPY SARAPES!!!! XD

  • Loved this as a kid. Nowadays people would think it was pro immigration propaganda that they would never let their stupid kids watch.

  • BEST SONG!!!!!

  • oohhhhhh

  • donald can't follow the moves

  • 3 gay caballeros.. carramba!

  • probably the best disney song ever

  • That Latin baby has some curves on her

  • Hahahaha! this song makes my dayy! XD love it! i listen to it 24/7! <3

  • This may b e the best song

  • I remember this!!! :D

  • PANCHO PISTOLAS = PANCHO VILLA A REAL MEXICAN, YEAH LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I found myself singing this at work today and had to come find the video. I remember having just this song on a Disney Sing-Along Songs VHS, and then when I got a hold of the actual movie, I thought all the non-cartoon parts were sooo boring. Thanks for putting this up! :D

  • @JeSuisJacquise lol XD thx for sharing ur story ^-^v I also thought the movie was rather boring, but this song is amazing <3 and ur welcome ^^

    love that part!!

  • I love this song.

  • I love this song.Panchito,Jose, and Donald make a good team too.

  • Ok to anyone going "WTF" when he says "gay"- Gay means "happy" in older times. A lot of Disney movies use "gay" as "happy".

  • omg they were about to kill him at the end LOLOL 'cept toons can only be killed two ways. With Dip (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit), or not having fans anymore...thankfully people still remember this.

  • VIVA MEXICO!!!

    200 HUNDRED YEARS OF FREEDOMM!!

  • i used to watch this all the time at christmas time

  • could someone please translate the last few lines of the song?

  • This was a freaking weird movie. >> Was this an educational film informing kids of central and south america or was it satire making fun of it?

  • @wrathofautumn I agree, the movie was strange x_x but I think it was meant educational, not to make fun of.

  • One of my favorite Disney movies!^^ I'm a carioca and it makes me so happy to know Walt Disney made a brazilian character. I love José! <3 Especially at 0:41 when he dances the samba, so cute. :3

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH best movie ever!

  • the first time i saw it i was in disneyworld :') and i love it :D

  • i like Jose Carioca, Panchito and Donald

  • Panchito Pistoles

(Full name : "Panchito Romero Miguel Junipero Franciso Quintero Gonzales ///)"

    Voice : " Joaquin Garay"

  • LATIN MUSIC FTW!

  • "Latin Baby" tranny, bi-curiosity, blunts, and attempted murder. Damn these Caballeros know how to have a gay old time.

  • And that scream at 0:11...

  • Ay, caramba!!!

  • Wow, i last saw this, almost 20 years ago =x. Such memories when i was a child<3 I never understood this until now.. Most amusingly.. I am all 3 cultures. Brazilian, Mexican, and American =o

I absolutely adored this song as a child. ^_^ Thanks for uploading!

  • @MsLeace

I don't get what you are thanking anyone for.

This isn't your intellectual property! You didn't make this. You had nothing to do with this.

But I will thank you for making it available. :)

  • @TouchedProductions I'm thanking for the comments. I never claimed it as my property.

  • this brings back memories XD

  • Ay, Jalisco no te rajes!!!

    so sool

    XD

  • you notice in the beginning of the song "3 gay caballeros" well remember this movie was released in 1945 and in the 40's it wasn't seen the word gay as we see it now they used it in it original term which mean joyful then in the 70's the homosexual community adopted it the word as there own.

p.s i'm basing comment on the comment of carlosmercadoabarca i thought it was good for the rest to know also as well

  • Im mexican and when i listen "Three GAY caballeros" i say WTF, because caballero in spaish is like something repectable. I don't Knew it, thanks for the information. Now im laughing. jajajaja

  • don't thank me, thank calosmercadoabarca, i only translated, he did all the actual work. but still glad we could help:)

  • @QUEPEDOTEGORGOREA GAY back then didn't mean the same thing as GAY today....GAY back then meant happy and they had other words for gay back then...as to how GAY went from HAPPY to what it means to the general public today is beyond me but ANYWAYS hope that clears it up for you

  • @JannyBeeGood yeah like in the flinstone's song, you'll have a gay old time.

  • @JannyBeeGood curse them for twisting a perfectly good word into something that middle schoolers giggle at whenever it is said in an older movie.

p.s. i have nothin against homosexuals, i just wish they hadn't picked "gay" as their word :(

  • Viva México!!!!! :D

great upload!!! I just love the movie, and this song is one from my favorites, the part of Brasil it's great too! :D

  • What language panchito is singing?

  • spanish

  • @IsthisFinland Spanish ofcourse! he's mexican

  • Panchito is singing in Spanish. This was originally a popular Mexican song, entitled "Jalisco Nos Tarachas", and Panchito is singing the original Mexican lyrics. The English lyrics were created by Disney for these cartoon characters. It was a very nice touch for Disney to include the original Mexican lyrics in this cartoon, along with the new English words.

  • @Howdybub9 Just a correction, the name is "Jalisco no te rajes" which more or less "Jalisco don't back off"

  • @Shadoboy But what is Jalisco?

  • @Shadoboy My translation was "Jalisco do not cry."

  • @Howdybub9 The name of the original song is "Ay Jalisco no te rajes" which could be translated as "Dont back off, Jalico". Jalisco is the name of the mexican State where mariachis are originally from. There`s even a movie with the same title. Saludos.

  • The whole movie is so boring.....but this song: OMG Its really a very good song. I´ve watched many times.

  • @jessiblueky how is the whole film called??

  • @jessiblueky - It is boring..it's one giant tourism ad for south america..

  • that is one looooooooonnnnngg note Panchito carries O_O

i can almost hold it!!!! :D

  • I can actually XD I tested, lol XP but ofcourse it doesn't sound nearly as cool as his, lol

  • @MsLeace Just takes a lot of practice, like with Anything you can do I can do better ^^

  • @MsLeace I can almost hold it too! damn that 's a long note

  • @MsLeace

    at least you tried.

i also did try hard to do a long one like he did, it was hard lol

    it almost sounded like his

  • @MsLeace dude i held for exactly the correct time! like i was about to stop but then he stopped also. when i was really little i remember i thought he held that note for sooo long

  • I LOVE THE THREE CABALLEROS!!!

  • Panchito say "Three" you bastard!

I am of Argetina,he say it too fast

  • ..eh, what? @@

please don't use such language on the comments of my video..

and if there's something missing from the subtitles, it's not my fault, I didn't make them, I simply recorded this to my comp from a dvd.

  • oh,ok,I only do the traduction xD

  • Who agrees Panchito is awesome? (don't reply if you disagree, I like Jose & Donald too, but Panchito is my fave)

  • @animallover2047 I do he's my favourite <3

  • Ah, Jose's my favourite. He's got a great voice. (Probably less obvious in this scene than others though.)

  • I agree. He's so smooth lol

  • keep in mind tho, back in the 1940's the term still only meant "happy" or "bright"

i love the grammar lessons in these movies X3

  • True, and yes, it's awesome

    8D

  • AAAAHHHH! I remember this part! I love the three Caballeros! Thanks for the upload!

  • thx for the comment X3

  • why does he say "gay" caballeros? Im mexican and i dont understand that

  • he says gay, because they're three happy caballeros. ^^

  • I think ur too sensitive >.>" ha

  • Back then 'gay' meant happy.

  • this question keeps repeating itself T^T I wonder what I could do to make these "gay"-comments stop x_x" haha

  • i love this song!!!!!!!!

  • thx for ur comment ^-^ metoo, lol

  • I love Jose with Panchito if they were alive as anmated they will chase after me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they wouldn't, they'd be too busy chasing after me XD

  • I don't even remember what this movie was about but I loved this song so much.

It's so weird to watch a cartoon where a character smokes because now special interest groups would be raising hell for it.

Anyway, this was an awesome vid and thank you for posting it.

  • the movie was honestly weird x.x they apparently made it to show the culture of Mexico and Brazil, or something like that ^^" lol

well, it's old movie, these days smoking has unfortunately become some kind of "fashion" among youths -_-"

    and np ^^ I didn't realize it would be a view-gather when I did x_x" ^^
