@mexicoburito256 You need to install the drivers homeboy. What's lame about XP is that you need to get on the internet to download a driver to allow you to get on the internet. I suggest you use a different computer to go to your PC's Manufacturer Support page and download the drivers for your model. Then put these drivers on a flash drive or CD and download them on your PC that has the new XP.

@spideymikey6 That's the Windows Welcome Music. It comes pre-installed with Windows XP. It's a WMA music file that lies located somewhere in the Program files folder. If you do a search you will find it. Otherwise you can find it on the net. Yes it's a very soothing track actually.

I need help too. 500 gb is my HD, I format my drive with the whole partition, at 20% it just stay there for 2 hrs. So I tried restarting with half of it 250 gb of partition and it still stop at 20%. What key gets you into the BIOS on an HP Pavilion 6630 (old computer)? When I turn it on, it shows a Hewlett Packard (I know, it's HP) but it doesn't say anything about the BIOS. I have installed two copies of Windows XP (you can install it from the desktop without booting) and one copy of Windows 2000, but I want to format it and just reinstall XP, and have nothing else. Except maybe a copy of Win2000. The Setup in the desktop installation doesn't let me format the hard drive.

2:26 shows partition screen. you only do something special if u want a special partition, otherwise just follow instructions and Windows will partition your drive.

Don't confuse restore CD's with the OS DVD.

just set everything before HDD (hard drive) make Hard Drive Last, that will put your CD drives before it. It has to try to boot the CD before it boots from the hard drive.
