@Strifehart78 yea we used pine cuse well akon is wird on what type of wood is used... but i just rembered something that also may help. when you. before you start with the jigsaw drill little holes in it to where your going to start with the jigsaw it should help a bit but yea lots and lots of sanding is reqared with anything you make out of wood ^_^
when i made mine i cut two layers at the same time i was also using scrap pieces as support when doing the smaller cuts only other thought is to be sure that you are using new sharp blades and do not force the saw

lol its made of light pine wood so they wherent heavy. i used pics and my acton figer of axle to get the meserments but i miss megered wich is why they became soo big XD i explan it all in the discrpshon on the side
i didnt show it cuse my dad sanded it whall i was at school. but we did sand it down to make shere it wouldnt splinter; wich you have to do with anything you make out of wood anyways

yup lol came with the Axle figer. we used it to see how they perposened to Axle so we could make these the size it would be to me if Axle was my size though i messed up on the meserments and it ended up HUGE! place the wepon under the figers arm and you'll find the iner circle will strech from his armpit to the base of his wrist whall i did that i some how used the wrong side of the messering tape so when my Dad drew it out,he used the side i was spost to and we endded up with HUGE Chakrams lol
yea we messed up on the meserments and by the time re relized it we already put too much work into it to start over (and there wasnt much time to make another pair before A-kon19)

anyway good job :D but try to sand down the edges of where you grab them. i did that and it made a HUGE differnce when ever i grabed it. then again i used thicker would.....
yea awesome! ^_^ we did buy some rounded pices we planed to glue on the hangles to make it easyer to hold and give it an added effect but ran out of time and im debating retiering axle so may leave them as is.
though i plan to do Saix ^_^ his wepen should be fun!!

hey one question.
Im making my chakrams out of wood as well, and am using a jigsaw but when i keep using it it keeps splintering the wood. What do you recommend?

also if its not too bad your going to have to sand it all down in the end to help it form not splintering later on. sanding it should help...
