(to study and understand the scriptures). May our study be brilliant. May we not argue

with each other. Om peace, peace, peace.

  • Great Job Natarajan, I am a software engineer need some electronic knowledge to start with Micro controllers you give me all the knowledge I needed wish you all the best and keep up this great work.

  • great video

  • REALLY SIR........

THESE VIDEOS ARE VERY HELPFUL FOR MY ENGINEERING CARRIER......

    I APPRECIATE IT.........

  • Dear Sir. I have become your fan, Your way of teaching is far better than our lecturers in the college. You are doing a great job free of cost for those who cannot afford to get paid classes. Thank you sir you are a genius.

  • very helpful for poor students

  • wow I am realy learning something..

  • school is for losers

  • @michael0001able if school is for losers, what is for winners, as everything created requires knowledge which is brought by some form of tuition

  • @CiliaDarren I love people who take youtube comments to heart lol and only losers pay to learn some they could teach themselves for free, just so they can become another nut in the machine :D... PEACE

  • @michael0001able what?

  • Awasome..really helpful 4 d Electronics students.

  • Awasome..really helpful 4 d Electronics students.

  • I keep trying to finish this video lmao... I've made it through the series resistor section a few times, but ran out of time and couldn't complete the video... here I am again.. hoping to finish the parallel resistor segment. Great videos! Thank you very much for sharing them.

  • Professor, I think you should give more time to capacitors and coils. The resonance circuits at the end were not properly explained.

  • This is a great lecture series. Thank you for sharing.

  • hi plz tell how to download serial wise video

  • @adidesiboy0 please contact NPTEL coordinator IIT Madras. The sell the CDs at very low price.

  • Did you know: These lectures have a price tag of Rs. 116 crores

  • Thanks to the Indian Government ... It's free!

  • I would want my money back if I had to pay for this class!

  • There are electonic Engineers who passed out through some technical college, but if you want to become Practical Electronic Engineers and do some creative work then follow these lectures. Thanx for such an amazing set of lecture. May God Bless you dear professor.

  • Wonderful stuff, thanks for putting these up

  • Thank you for sharing this wealth of knowledge with the masses Prof. Natarajan !

  • Your the man!!!!!!!

  • I like this method of learning .More such good work should be done in each and every subject.

    Thanking You,

  • thank you

  • Hi ; I am confused by the pic of series resistors at about 28 minutes . Is the power coming from each side? I thought to be in series they would have to just be in a line one after the other power coming from only one direction . If that were the case the voltage after r1 would be v and then after r2 would be v/2 . The line in the middle after r1 just looks like it would only have r1 resistance and therefore voltage would be v ?

  • Very informative... Thank u very much for all these videos...

  • thank you for this :-)

  • Here's a question:

Why do you question free college-level courses provided by a professor if you don't have to pay tens of thousands of dollars?

Hey, there are generous people out there. If you don't appreciate their work, don't touch it, don't view it, don't speak of it, just go away.

  • "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

  • Thank you for making this information freely available online!

  • Thanks Sir..!its really help me alot to learn the Basics of electronics...!!v will expect that u will continues ur lecturez so that v can learn more about it,.....!!

    Thankx Alot....

  • yeah right. as if iits need to attract people to survive. the acceptance rate is around 2% (~8000 selected out of ~350,000) for these institutes for your information.

  • good lecture i gained a lot knowledge

  • Thank you Prof. Natarajan for sharing with us your lectures. I am just starting to understand electronics, and i am truly grateful for giving us an insight into the exciting world of technology!

  • i like to watch your lecture .....thanks for post them

  • i like to watch your lecture .......thanks for post them

  • Anyone knows if there is a transistor tutorial? Whether here or anywhere else in Youtube.

    Thanks.

  • @jjojjorge that's the content of the lecture nr.10 of this serie.

  • Thanks Oxi46.

  • Thanks, I found two tutorials already.

  • Thank u Sir...ur way of teaching is really good.

  • There is no ideal voltage source!

  • If there was one, there would not exist anything. There will always be resistance, impedance, etc. In fact, there are always all aspects of electronics everywhere.

  • thanks a lot . great lecture!

  • thanks for this video

  • What an appropriate introduction to an electronics course: Ohmm... Ohmm... HA! :O)

  • He pronounced it that way because he want to be called as Sir Cute..

  • I love the way he speacks, like my old doctor,

he comes out with very old british sayings,(aint half hot mum) like "what is your cup of tea?"

  • ill admit, it drives me nuts to hear the pronunciation, but seriously, i can't speak his native tongue, and im not giving a great educational service away.... so ima shut my mouth and listen, maybe learn something about tolerance... (get it?)

  • circuit - yes. sir-cute - no.

  • have the decency to atleast acknowledge the immense contribution... phonetics, spelling, etc. dwarfs in front of the extents of knowledge they are imparting

  • thanks for this lecture

  • thank U vry mch Natarajan sir...... and thanks a lot to da people who gave it to us..

  • thank you taking the time to put this togther .
