I caught this tour in Dallas when they came to America. Loved every moment of it! The production for the show was not terribly big, but my bandmates and I stood pretty much at attenion in our floor seats for the entire performance. The music was superb and Ian's presence was just amazing. A great memory for one who was at that time "Too Young To Rock and Roll, and Nowhere Near Old enough to Die!!" Thanks for posting!!
What I love the most about Jethro Tull is that their songs gain depth with age, rather than losing it -- and that we can also identify with & 'get' others the first time we heard it, even as a kid. Usually we can only either 'get' it as a child (then wince at it as an adult) OR we can find more meaning with age (but find it boring until then) -- an artist succeeding at both requires some kind of genius.
