Orton as a good QB no he doesn't have a rocket arm, he has a good arm (not a noodle arm) and he is an incredibly smart QB who works hard and spreads the ball around. And yes he can throw darts farther than 30 yards (Two 40-yard TD passes against Ravens and a 50-yard bomb to LLoyd against the Colts) We just have to get him a running game.

He's a winner, he has good stats, he's a really good guy off the field, etc. Someday he'll probably win a Super Bowl with a team with a great defense who just needs a competent quarterback and then he'll get dumped the next year just like Trent Dilfer was. Kyle Orton is the best of the second tier of Quarterbacks in the leagueright now. He is a game manager. He is proficient when operating within the limits of a system. But he can't go out and make a big play when you need one. The arm strength just isnt there. But I would take him over a number of starting Quarterbacks in the league.
