@soraxnoxshana no it does not void your PS3 warranty Sony made PS3 HDD Upgradedable i had the 60GB HDD PS3 I upgraded to a 160GB HDD it takes about 1 to 2 hours to do this upgrade completely

Don't try to keep deleting then filing the hardrive I had to rebuild my hardrive not by hand but the the ps3 said rebuilding hardrive then a little bar thing but to avoid that just turn off then turn back on

Google one of your retailers to see if they've got any that might be a better deal.

And remember that you can upgrade it in a few years to something bigger if you need the space, there's not much point in buying the biggest one on the off chance that you can fill that many gigs.

Why 160GB?

I don't understand isn't the point of doing that to your ps3 is so that you have all the space you need for a while and i mean a while. Unless you don't download demos and keep them on the hdd like i do keep it to 160gb but if you do dl demos upgrade to even higher such as 320gb like me

well you dont really have to back up your account you can just go to sign up on your playstation and then it will say already a member or something like that, then you can put you email and password and it will sign you back on to ps3, so you really dont need to back up the account but it will back up your account normally.

No you dont dumbass.

With a 360, the hard drive is on the top of the system, you just push the button down and pull out the hard drive, then slot the new one in place. WAY more simple. The bad thing is that it costs a lot of more money for a 360 hard drive.

Actually, i think wetback was saying how hard it is to put your own HDD in the 360. That involves taking apart the HDD enclosure and stuff. It does save about $100 tho

when i was downloading an update i lost the power and now my internet connection on the ps3 is not working its spots an acces point but when i try to check the configuration it says "Check the security settings on wireless LAN" althou the security is none on that acees point. plz any one help me
