Sorry IF i offended you, It is just that I am one of those kind of people who like my animals walking around in the wild NOT on my wall or on my plate(unless it is absolutely necessary. Why was I looking at that video? Because It said it was shot in the snowys and I LOVE the snowys. I have gone there over 30 times specifically to enjoy the wildlife and scenery in the wild.
Nice nbull...what caliber of gun were you using? My wife shot a moose 3 years ago and she was using a 270 wsm...she got him and it taped out at 42 inches...not as big as yours but a good eating moose never the less and yes the hide is heavy and thick! Guess who had to gut it...yours truly but I was never so glad to see 7 drunk hunter show up and help us get it out and put it in out truck...then used a front end loader at home to skin it and cut it up.
@zgomer1 Thanks!! I shot it with a 30-06 180 grain bullet. Yeah luckly there was three of us and between us it took us 4 1/2 hours to gut it, skin it, and pack it out 200yrds. But 42" is still a respectible bull I was amming for atleast a 40" bull, but got way luckier.
I hope that you were absolutely starving to death, that you had no clothes to keep you warm and absolutely no other way to survive and that is why you murdered that incredible animal. Otherwise you should be locked away in a room with no windows, the door sealed shut and left there for eternity.
@tgltyty If you don't have anything nice to say, Get off my damn video!! And if your so concerned about hunting and disagree with it soo much, Why the hell are you looking at the videos in the first place? Just to let you know he was quite tasty and he looks really good on my wall too!
@WyoHunter09 I am sorry if I offended you, It is just that I am one of those kind of people walking around in the wild not on my wall or on my plate (unless of course I am starving) as far as why I was looking at that video , I was looking at it because it was shot in the Snowy range , my favorite place on earth. The scenery and the wild life are the reasons I go there.
hahaha even though im only 16, this reminds me of last year when i got my first bull. 54" rack in north-eastern ontario Kirkland lake area.. took it down first shot, follow up shot in the head tho for kill-shot. The scenario was scarily similar, swamp looked the same and all! good hunting! 10/10
@MrFleet94 Thanks i was only 13 when i killed this bull and he is about as big as they get for the Shiras sub species (which is the smallest sub species of moose). Thanks man!! Congrats on your bull.
well if you have ever hunted moose than you would know that they are at least a 900lbs animal and that they generally take more than one shot. and i hit him three times in the heart and lungs so he was eventually going to die with the first shot. so dont tell me if i had a clean shot or not.
great bull and i also hunt moose with a 30-06
