I've been hating on Miley for the past, ma maybe year and a half, but I have to say she's really improved in both the singing and acting categories. She's not that bad any more. After watching this vid, I guess I could say that I kind of like her now... Weirdness.

Wow, bad quality video. It's hard to judge the quality of her voice when the quality of the vid is scewed up. But I read from people who were there that she was amazing, and the TV version was great, so I think she did good.

It amazes me how people love to criticize. I am 45 and while not a big Miley fan she undoubtably has some great talent and a great voice. To criticize someone like that is really a joke. Everyone who is critical of her on here I would love to know who they are a fan of. Then you could get a ton of people to criticize those artists as well. It like the same people that say Madonna has no talent even though she is the hugest FEMALE artist in the history of music.

You're right. It's because she's a celebrity. And when normal teenage girls do it, they get called sluts too. They're sexualizing themselves when its unnecessary to do so. The reason it's such a "big deal" when a young celebrity does something like this, is because they're supposed to be young role models for other, even younger girls. She's a Disney star, no less- this means girls as young as five years old are looking up to her... you have to be careful with that kind of an audience.
