  • @hmoobsoldier95 as far as i can tell it does. it works on biceps and triceps, the only two muscles in your upper arms, and grip/forearm comes with the package

  • @bamishaye1 I know you're asking Scooby this, but first of all, I'd keep on eye on your lifting technique to make sure you're distributing the weight evenly between both arms. Also, don't forget that your dominant arm will be slightly bigger anyway due to more use. If the size is bothering you, tone down the training on one arm and increase the training on the weaker one until they're even. Then train evenly from there.

  • @bloodyranqe You can't practice,I mean with lots of workouts you get used to it and you won't have any problems breathing,though,Scooby has some videos which involve breathing while exercising.I can't remember the names,but they're from the old ones.Go check them out.

  • @hutton4059 couldn't agree more, i use it every time i workout. only problem is when you're supersetting and do an exercise back to back, i hate having to enter in the reps cause it's a little tedious other then that i LOVE it.

    I also use runmeter whenever i go on a jog, i recommend that if you run a lot.

    work out, eat chicken + healthy foods, try for 4-5 meals a day. Drink protein shakes once in morning and once after each workout.

    I was doing 3 sets of hammer curls , 3 sets curls machine , 3 sets dumbell curls , and 3 sets of tricep pulldowns but I just watched you do around 12 sets for triceps and biceps ....im thinking I need to do more.

  • I'm interested in weight-lifting exercises that also help with stability. I injured my left leg/hip in the Army, and though I have completely healed, I am finding that I need to work harder to maintain my stability as I still cannot do some activities like jumping and running without pain. A previous trainer had me do straight-leg dead lifts on one leg at a time, and I felt like it helped a lot. He also had me do push ups with one hand on a small weight ball.

  • @jacquelyn129 I'd like to learn about more exercises like those, especially ones that can be done with weights. I thought that it might be of interest to everyone since stability because more of an issue with age and after recovery from injuries. And it also helps prevent injuries! (I also find that I have less pain less frequently when I am working on my stability regularly.)

  • Yo scooby, you advise your S61xl, basically super set routine for advance bodybuilders. But what separates an advanced bodybuilder from an intermediate. Ive been training since i was 15, im now 19, nearly 20 and ive stopped seeing improvements for long time regardless of chaining exercises about or at least i think so. Is it worth me trying that s61XL routine?

  • Heyhey Scooby, I love these long workout clips! Even if I need 10 years to actually making them for myself. But every thing has somewhere a starting point :)

    While doing the last reps of a arm/chest/lat workout sometimes my hands and forearms get very tired and burn as hell, for example the french press version with one dumb bell, where you create a triangle with your hands to keep the weight stable. It's a interesting side effect of my beginning workout journey ;D

  • @xKingGaarax I find that workout gloves are a nuisance and they dont help at all with calluses anyway - they are just a fashion accessory in my book :)

    Nooo way Scooby!!! They definitely prevent calluses. My hands were filled with them before I got gloves. Awesome vid by the way Scooby.

  • try gloves with a little padding. i was walking with a girl on the beach a few years ago and went to hold hands with her and she pulled back cause she thought all the hard skin were warts or something. i always wear them now especially - especially when doing back. pulling bars really builds calluses.

  • @scooby1961 Huh, do you really think so? I've found gloves are helpful in some exercises for me. For example, some olympic bars are really rigid and doing deadlifts with certain bars can totally tear off your calluses (It's happened to me a few times). I negate this with a cheap $10 dollar pair of gloves. They also make benching more comfortable for my wrists with the padding. I think maybe it's more a preferential thing.

  • Did you get some bone removed from your shoulder to minimize scraping or rotator cuff repair?

  • @Mbhil They were going to grind off some bone in my shoulder but when they got in there they found my shoulder was in perfect mechanical order so they did nothing.
