I'll take the extra screen real estate over 1-2 seconds faster loading times any day! In my opinion, the features of the Android browser are far and away better than iOS'. If the iPhone was winning by 10 seconds or more in speed, then i may have a different tune. However, speed is not the only way by which to determine who has the better browser. Great video. I'm wondering though if the signal problems your having are because of Verizon's network or because of the phone itself. I think you should exchange it and try it again. Just seems weird that your getting weaker signal all around with the galaxy nexus. Every video I've watched on it is just a bit faster than the iPhone 4S every time. Awesome comparison though. :-)
@adamleewh you are very unlikely to see a camera comparison between the 2 phones where the reviewer caps the image size of the iphone to 5MP just to make it a fair comparison with the Nexus, and frankly he shouldn't. If a phone offers a higher MP camera it should be taken into account when comparing image quality.
@adamleewh if your using a phone which has LTE for browsing and a phone that doesn't, than obviously to compare browser speeds it does count. Iphone 4s is capped at a "theoretical" max speed of 14.4Mbps. Actual is closer to 3-4. The Galaxy Nexus is averaging ACTUAL speeds of 20+ and often faster than broadband speeds. Capping the speed and then doing a "speed" test is not fair. Since the Nexus gets actual speeds higher than the theoretical max of iphone, its not the connection which is limiting
How is using wifi fair? Its like saying to make a race between a Diesel Ferrari and a, Petrol Nissan Micra fair, both should be limited to 50mph in the race?!
