You get full control of your PS3 thanks to GeoHot (hacker that first jail broke iPhone). That's why Sony disabled "Other OS" but there is a work around coming or out, to re-enable "Other OS" on newest firmware update. Sony has to redesign the PS3 itself to stop PS3's from being hacked now. But once it's been done, Sony can never stop them! PS3 is is now OPEN for Pirates!
