I agree with u that our health sector needs a lot more work but your coverage was a little one-sided.

I went to get tested for H1N1 2 weeks ago at Mt. Hope and the service was swift, professional and friendly. In fact i thought they were spending too much time w/ me even after they knew i wasnt a threat. The hospital was clean and modern, and i frequently the med student's hall and it too is clean and ok.

BTW those pics of the PM's house were revealed as fakes for like a year now.

They (ministers) have their own priorities set, which sadly does not include the laws and citizens of t&t. what about the layman or the average citizen of trinidad and tobago? They dont have access to private jets and taxpayers money to sponsor expensive overseas medical treatment. 3) the photos shown purportedly as the PMs residence were also shown as various hated leaders' homes on the African continent (notably Robert Mugabe's) as part of an INTERNET HOAX (snopes/hoax-slayer are your friends- utilise them). Those pics are simply a case of "insert hated leader's name here" at top of email. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU SPREAD PROPAGANDA.

lastly, the pics were just a representation of what the PM residence MAY look like, as i indicated in the column to the top right of the screen if u bothered to read. These pics are old news as a prank. The expenditures for the PM's house however, are NOT a prank. Any one with sense wud know that if i had pics of his house, that wud be a breach of national security. in fact, these pics are quite demure. At $3 mil in curtains, $10 mil for the kitchen etc, it probably looks a lot better.

1) the main reception area/lobby is NOT where patients come for medical treatment; therefore looking for protocols and guidelines for flu preparedness in the visitors lobby is MISLEADING and POINTLESS (try the A&E Dep't)

1) the main reception is EXACTLY where patients come to find out WHERE to go for medical attention. U only go to A&E for an emergency....i.e...almost dying, etc. So to say it is pointless...well....is just plain stupid. u clearly have no understanding of how a hospital works.
