@cakepan66: More specifically, Favre turned his back on the fans by pulling that "retirement" bs ever since at least 2003. It was an old and tiresome routine well before he retired the first time. Him coming back on family night before the 2008 season and demanding his starting job back and not wanting to compete with Rodgers for it was the last straw. I was happy to see him leave, and won't be giving him any of the respect he's earned until his jersey gets retired. I know I'm not alone.

He was great in college and his 2nd and 3rd year as a back up, whispers of how good he was in practice were coming out from the staff. Brett cost his team more harm then good, especially in playoffs when it mattered most, 4&6 int games and 3 last drive terrible int in the last 10 years. That is 5 games his poor decision or play killed his team. A lot more fans then you think were done with the BF era.

In 09, his defense let him down because 45 points should be enough to win any game. This season, the defensive secondary played like shit and Rodgers's receivers dropped 6 easy passes.

There is still Greg Jennings who is great. James Jones and Jordy Nelson are alright but need to step it up a little.
