most sequels are not even close to the quality of the originals because of the lame attempts to stretch a 2 hour plot into 2 more hours, both Batman Begins (I don't know if you consider that a sequel or a new beginning to an old story) and The Dark Knight (simply because you mentioned them twice in videos) were great movies (not perfect...just great) in their own respects.

I dont think all sequels should be written off so easily, only the ones that are made based on the profit of the prequel

You're correct... rushing to make a sequel before waiting to get a GREAT plot... but its a money machine.. they know they aren't setting the bar higher.. very very very few sequels are better than the original: Terminator 2, Godfather 2, Toy Story 2, arguably The Dark Night... and maybe a few others... Before Sunset....

Well you know, it would be unfair to unartistic people to not include them by shunning the use of unnecessary sequels, really cliche music, or art that a third grader could make but wouldn't be recognized for!

by the way, for some reason it makes me like your videos even more that you respond to comments people leave on them...it lets me know that my opinions are actually heard and that is enough to make any sensible person feel all warm (but not fuzzy cause that's probably bad) inside.

Though I can't answer all the comments I do try. I agree completely with you... its the same reasons that Nickleback goes number one.. music for the masses... they sell what's being sold.. too many people are unwilling to watch a great indie film or something without big effects or known actors. Shame.

And what better way to make new friends than to start a conversation.. even if it's on youtube!

I think the "un-hollywood" aspect of indie films are what make them appealing to me. That's the great thing about Tarantino, I think for as big as his name has gotten, he still makes movies that are not necessarily huge productions and still leave anyone who's not "in" on who he is as a director saying "what the fuck?"
