IKord 35mm Adapter Test

I love my SD9 for how small it is, does this 35mm kit make it unusable for fast handheld work? Love your stuff, thanks...

unusuable for fast handheld work, pretty much yeah. the adapter means you can't zoom in and out, the image is flipped in the viewer, and you can't use auto-focus. so for just walking around and shooting, it's REALLY challenging.

Trying to be constructive. I am looking for a 35mm. solution for my HV30. But I was disappointed with this 1.

the iKord can look MUCH better. do a search for it on vimeo, you'll see, it's quite good. I was missing one ring to get the focal screen far enough for a real crisp image once the focus went to infinity, that's why it's a little fuzzy. I had the iris wide open because I didn't know how many stops I would lose, which turned out to be not many.

Thx for the reply. I will check up on it some more. I would love to get this since seller is from Finland I believe and I´m in Denmark. Would make it easy instead of having to order JAG35 or twoneil from the states due to the custom taxes.

Few Questions:

- Are you satisfied with it

- Is it Static

- Can you fit a acromat

I like it well enough, it's the best by far for the price, but it's not as good as some on the next tier, price-wise. it is static, but they make vibrating ones, I just didn't want one. I do have an acromat on mine, though not every camera will need one depending on the size.

the ikord is the best in at that price point.

never go for a jag - EVER.

if you really want an upgrade, go for a letus. but then you're getting into thousands of dollars..you need a better set up..etc etc etc

looks fantastic man, getting this adapter soon and cant hardly wait! mines not a hd camcorder though just standard but looking forward to that lovely shallow d.o.f!
