  • griffey,jr had everything speed, power, and fielding! he was the michael jordan in MLB my opinion! i mean jordan in basketball doesnt have most points in nba but he is known the best ever lived! i think griffey ,jr. was too most decaded most passonate everything..we living in a world of people that have tunnel vison of knowledge, lack of imagination, loyalty ,self respect every one in general man is nothing but has tunnel vison they dont realize the great things happening .they expect too much bro!

  • i agree with u man :)

  • I agree with everything you said in this video. It is time that somebody grew some balls in the MLB and stood up for these guys,

  • Steroids help ppl hit more HRs. That being said, Barry Bonds is an amazing player. While he was able to hit 73 HRs in a season on steroids, no other player (on steroids) could. Steroids do not make a great ball player, they make a great ball player Greater. You still need hand eye coordination. If Bonds wasn't on steroids in 2001 he still probably would of hit around 40-50 HRs..still a great number. On steroids, some of those warning track flyouts turn into HRs and with...

  • @Fish61324 .... 600+ Plate Appearances a year, they can really add up fast. The proof that steroids help you hit more HRs is in the numbers. Just look at the facts. No one can say that steroids did not help Bonds hit 73 HRs that year. Do people realize that Bonds has never hit 50 something or 60 something HRs in a season...EVER! He went right from 40s to 70s and back down to 40s. All these players (McGwire,Sosa,Bonds,A-rod,Manny etc. etc.... are all GREAT ball players and....

  • @Fish61324 .....Not because of steroids. They would have been superstars without steroids... with steroids they became Legends and that is where the problem is. They cheated to be better than the rest. There were and probably still are players in the MLB that took steroids and never hit more than 10 HRs in a season.

  • You should read Jose Canseco's auto-biography, "Juiced". In the book he openly admits he used steroids to get stronger and get faster. I agree in that not all used it to get stronger but to say that none did is a bit ignorant. When Mark began taking steroids, the outside pitches that he tried to take to opposite field and couldn't drive out of the park, he could now consistently hit it out. I'm not just knocking on Big Mac, he was my favorite player growing up.

  • I agree man. I think that people go too far in their condemnation of the athletes. I still hold McGwire to a high degree.

  • I am going to take a trip back to memory lane tonight with some cold ones. I like watching the superbowl highlights, but forgot about Baseball moments. Diamondbacks/Yankees was a great series because of the circumstances. Peace.

  • sadly if you look at MLB's top 15 all time HR leaders 6(McGuire, Bonds, Arod, Manny and Palmeiro) of those people have been caught at one point for using PEDs.

  • opps forgot to add Sosa to that list. Sosa and i think he's the biggest cheater of all. not only was he caught using PEDs, the whole corked bat incident was a shame. he knew actually what he was doing. anyone that watches baseball, know that players are very particular to what bats they use. so to say he picked up his juiced "BP" bat on accident. He got to have it pretty much swept under the rug because he was MLB's Latin America ambassador.

  • we know they weren't juicing because steriods weren't invented by then. steroids are a modern day invention

  • @Hatmantc roids have been around since the 30s yes the corked bat was a shame but they was doing that in the old days as well

  • @Hatmantc so you believe those hrs was hit because of roids? So the smaller ballparks smaller ball and strike zone had nothing to do with right

  • @furydoughboy those things you listed might have a bit to do with the increase in HRs for all players, but when 1/3 of the TOP 15 HR leaders have been implicated in steroids use, well other evidence does one need? now if it were one or two of HR leaders, then i can see where you're coming from, but when its 6 of the top 15 thats a problem

  • Baseball has always been a cheater's sport.
