Do the homework for yourselves. this guy is right about the garbage that is in our food but I don't know if he realizes it's a push by the elite to create a global governance for the planet. just do the research yourselves.

  • Genetics HAS to come into play here in some occasions.......my friend, who does NO physical activities at all (works retail and stays home and plays video games) eat junk foods, candy, drinks beer, and has no desire to eat healthy.......has a PERFECT set of abs, and he does completely the opposite of what you are saying.......can u explain that?

  • i feel sorry that there are people arguing on this thread when we should be nurturing each other. we are attacking each other because our societies set us up in perpetual competition with each other. we shouldn't eat what we are told to eat by the people trying to sell it to us, we shouldn't eat chemicals and processed foods and such high amounts of nutritionally barren 'products' (not even food). we should be conscious of everything we put in our bodies and do so with love and respect. peace.

  • @taramobear "i feel sorry that there are people arguing on this thread when we should be nurturing each other"

Alerting ignorant people of the diseases related to meat is nurturing.

  • I agree with this speaker 100%... I decided to improve my diet at the beginning of 2009. I read the book "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman and have lost 50 pounds and my blood pressure as gone below 120/80 and my cholesterol is in the good range... You only go through life once. Why not do what you HAVE to do to increase your longevity????

  • Why chocolate high in antioxidant see the whole story .A new Hi Antioxidant 50.000 orac proteine Meal will be launced 16 august

  • yes, yes and yes !!!

I'm french, always ate in a normal way.. I went to the US for a year and gained 7kg in 12 months even though I didn't particularly "stuff my face".. I came to realize that the problem isn't that much about the quantity of food you eat (mind you, it counts too), but the quality of the food you eat ..

  • well said. i agree with you 200 % !!!!! I'm especially concerned about genetically engineered animals and fruits. even seeds are genetically engineered these days. so when ure fruit and veggie is looking sooo large and bright in colour and spotless..we need to think again. those stuff don't contain most of the nutrition that they're supposed to contain. we really need to be careful.

  • To Lorax2013 and anyone else for that matter: What are your thoughts on the HCG Diet to reset the body's metabolism and then going on to an organic diet or close to a paleo diet ?

  • @chipzmakr69 The human digestive system was developed before the Paleolithic era. Meat is not biochemically compatible and it contributes to virtually all diseases as it degrades the human digestive system.

  • hey amy here i have great tips on dieting check out my blog

  • I have seen some of your clip and I like them. However I have been disappointed by you “undergroundhealthpeople” in the past. Many of you seem to believe in conspiracy theories for example about vaccines, and also making claims about the fantastic resultant of your treatments you can’t live up to. Just giving false hope about mental and physical health.

  • on your topic of media and diet.... i am intermittent fasting on food for 19 hours a day with a 5 hour eating window....

perhaps you should look into doing a video of fasting on other things? like fasting from Television or fasting from internet or alcohol or other devious things that degrade quality of life???

    great videos by the way

  • Finally The Diet Solution here: watch?v=6LhODQFSxdM

  • Excellent reflections. As you're using palaeolithic arguments, I'd have to add that all sorts of flour, whole grain or not, are simply not food for humans. It's unnatural for us, because we have been eating it for a very short time, our bodies are not customized for it.

  • Brought up Psychetruth. It's a shame they actively engage in comment censoring while promoting snake oil. I used to watch their videos a lot but those two naturopaths are complete nuts and a discredit to intellectually honest practitioners. Though the nutritionist makes up for it, yes indeed.

  • Great information. Thanks for sharing.

  • Mice on a 12-week low carbohydrate/high- protein diet had a marked increase in arteriosclerotic plaques in their hearts' arteries. They were unable to form new blood vessels in tissues deprived of blood flow, as occurs during a heart attack (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, September 2009).

In spite of the artery damage, blood cholesterol levels did not increase. Further studies are needed to see whether this occurs in humans as well.

  • you're sooooo handsome!!!!!

  • second that:)

  • why dont you fat asses just run around your block? I eat so effing much with a low metabolism, there is no genetics.. if you eat a lot and don't do exercise your disgusting! and you wonder why your fat? Just lift weights and run, play basketball... something. No diet is needed.

  • He looks like he is making this up as he goes along. Anyhow as soon as he talks about fats we know he belongs to the pre Atkins days when the doctors used to somehow associate fatty foods with fat.

Of course bread, soda, potatoes and rice have no fat but they will cause rampant obesity. Another misinformation video.

  • Of course soda will cause rampant obesity and yes bread, potatoes and rice too. He goes on to recommend non-reputable videos too. But the answer is certainly not an atkins style diet.

Fresh, organic plants are the answer.

  • nope, fresh organic meat is the answer, impossible to be healthy without it

  • 'Meat is a source of several chemicals known to cause DNA mutations ie N-nitroso compounds, heterocyclic amines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

"Meat consumption has been reported in over a hundred epidemiological studies from many countries with diverse diets

causing cancer by several routes, ie saturated fat and iron, independently associated with carcinogenesis'

U.S. National Cancer Institute Library of Science journal PLoS Medicine 2007.

Meat has killed more ppl than all wars.

  • all lies, all these studies have been debunked, oh no? please explain how meat in any form changes your DNA. also you are forgetting that meat is the only source fo things like creatine, iodine, vitamin b, etc, and oh yeah good ole protein. it is a fact that humans are not menat to eat veggies, only fruit and meat, please dtop spreading lies

  • 'explain how meat in any form changes your DNA'

Meat causes cancer. Cancer damages DNA.

"dietary iron index was directly correlated with 10 types of cancer which correlated with both iron directly and zinc inversely were bladder, breast.."Anticancer Res. 2008 May-Jun;28:1955-63.

"heme preferentially catalyze oxidative reactions. Heme catalyzed oxidations can damage lipids, proteins, DNA and other nucleic acids and various components of biological systems"Med Hypotheses. 2007;68(3):562-4.

  • @Chrisisms complete idicoy, you ahve it all backwards. something caused dna to mutate and taht is cancer, not the other way fool. and if meat causes cancer then all people should ahve died from cancer millions of years ago. please keep positn, you give everyone a good laugh with your made up nonsense

  • @MisterNutrition 'something caused dna to mutate and taht is cancer'

True and meat causes dna mutation in humans. Even high protein contributes to cancer promotion, all stages of cancer.

'if meat causes cancer then all people should ahve died from cancer'

False. That's a slippery slope fallacy. Humans can also continue to smoke and it won't wipe out the species. Cancer is a degenerative disease that usually kills people after reproductive age, nonetheless, humans can't digest meat.

  • There is NO nutritional imperative for meat. If u want to consume meat that is your choice, or more specifically that was the choice of your Mom who habituated you to animal fat while you were in utero. You had no choice at the time and social conditioning since then may make it seem as though you have no choice now but meat is really a health compromise for available, high quality food. There is no shortage of protein.

  • of course there is no imperative for any food for omnivores.

  • Yet fruit and meat are NOT digested equally. Fruit reverses meat diseases.

  • of course not digested equal. meat provides more nutrients

  • Too much protein and iron in meat, leading to cancer, Alzheimer's, acidosis, high blood pressure, gout, macular degeneration, etc.

  • nah u cant get too much protein or iron in diet

  • bigus 'u cant get too much protein'

When protein intake exceeds about 95 grams per day, the body goes into negative mineral balance because of high acidity. With an intake of 140 gm, there is a mean loss of 60 mg of calcium per day. Horne, CHAPTER 15 DIET AND NUTRITION

    'or iron'

Iron increases heart disease risks because heme iron acts as a pro-oxidant, causing LDL-cholesterol to react with oxygen and therefore increases one's risk of cardiovascular problems. Circulation1994; 89:969-74

  • 95 grams per day? so a 100 lb person overdoses on exactly the same amount as a 300 lber?

  • 95 grams is a lot of protein. u cant get even close to that on a fruit diet

  • '95 grams is a lot of protein. u cant get even close to that on a fruit diet'

    EXACTLY!

  • exactly. so a fruit diet is inadequate.

  • Thus meat produces the Alzheimer's, cancer, gout, anxiety, etc in question.

  • no meat doesnt

  • theres 0 evidence of meat causing any of those diseases. anxiety is an emotion

  • 'anxiety is an emotion'

There is no need to experience debilitative anxiety.

"studies have linked maternal consumption of an unbalanced high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet in late pregnancy with raised adult blood pressure in the offspring. Because high-protein diets stimulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, we hypothesized that an unbalanced maternal diet might increase maternal cortisol levels,..J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2003 Aug;88(8):3554-60.

  • anxiety is an emotion it has nothing to do with diet. that study says unbalanced. u argue that term is invalid yet u post a study that uses it.

  • @bigusdikus0 yeah thats him, hes one of those people that just likews to put out misinformation, just look at the wild claims, if any of this wre true none of us would be here debating it, history has proven that we were hunting and fishing millions of years before we ever farmed a damn thing

  • the key word is unbalanced. it doesnt say meat causes anxiety

  • European Journal of Social Psychology 33(1)37-56. 29 Jul 2002

study revealed that participants perceived that meat, particularly red meat, symbolises the endorsement of inequality and hierarchy values more than other basic foods.

A consensus exists among sociologists and anthropologists that meat

symbolizes social power and related values (i.e., inequality; Adams

1990; Fiddes 1991; Heisley 1990; Twigg 1983). Red meat symbolized

inequality more than the other food groups,

  • @Chrisisms you do realize that it is not natural for people to eat tons of carbs right? oh no that right you dont know any facts

  • @MisterNutrition Nobody said 'eat tons of carbs'

Humans cannot digest meat that's why humans get sick from it.

  • @Chrisisms : Nobody said 'eat tons of meat'. And yes, humans can digest meat. We have the enzymes that are required.

  • @auggiedoggy 'Nobody said 'eat tons of meat'

I know. u said 'tons of carbs' though. And that is a fallacy of bifurcation, totally unnecessary when consuming a healthy, raw, plant based diet.

    'humans can digest meat'

'there are no enzymes capable of degrading uric acid in man' Role of Uric Acid as Endogenous Radical Scavenger and Antioxidant. Becker et al. Chest 1991;100'176S-181S

Humans do NOT have uricase enzyme to safely digest meat. This causes cancer, heart disease, etc from meat.

  • @Chrisisms : I never said 'tons of carbs'. Where are you getting that from? Man has been eating meat for 2 million years, plenty of time to adapt. I believe in and follow a plant-based diet but plant-based doesn't mean that you eliminate all animal foods from the diet. The healthiest longest lived populations all ate meat. As I said, nobody said you have to eat a ton of meat. Look at the Okinawans as an example.

  • I never said tons of anything. u brought it up. Where are u getting it from? u top posted. My comment about 'tons..' was in response. I use numbers and science. Now, I've provided science of bacterial flora thriving w/raw fruit but destroyed w/cooking and meat. Now will you please provide some science to support your cultural diet of mixed cooked food products?

    '.... longest lived populations..'

    STOP!

    You're talking about history/culture. I'm talking about evolution/genetic instructions.

  • @Chrisisms : Who said anything about cooked meat? Do you our ancestors cooked everything? The Inuit certainly don't and raw fish consumption isn't unheard of. I consume sushi, sashimi and smoked salmon which is almost raw. Please explain to me how humans can derive such things as taurine or B12 from natural non-animal sources. If your arguments were relevant then humankind would do equally well on vegan diets as they do on mixed diets. This isn't the case. Why is that?

  • 'Who said anything about cooked meat?'

u advocate cooked food. Cooked meat is the unhealthiest and cooking was popularized for making 'accessible' the meat to supplement ancestor's cultural diets, in spite of disease risks.

    'ancestors cooked everything?'

Nothing cooked benefits the digestive system, be it fruit or meat.

    'Inuit..'

out of the ecological niche had many digestive problems and still do.

    'I consume sushi'

    u are constipated.

    'and smoked salmon'

There we go- cooked meat w/uric acid.

  • @Chrisisms : You really have a problem getting things right! Firstly, I never said anything about carbs, secondly, I never mentioned cooked meat. I see you took a portion of my sentence and put it in quotes but you left out a key part. If you're going to quote me, at least get it right. You diagnosed me as constipated because I eat sushi? I can't take you seriously anymore. Just for the record, I've never been constipated. You really know nothing about me to make ridiculous statements like that.

  • 'I never said anything about carbs'

I realize this after identifying your toppost and original thread. your comrade brought up 'tons of carbs'. Then for some reason u reacted to 'tons of protein' out of context. Now u act surprised when I thought u were part of the original exchange...

    'I never mentioned cooked meat'

auggiedoggy 11 hours ago @Chrisisms : 'I consume sushi, sashimi and smoked salmon'

    'constipated because I eat sushi'

    Correct, unless u supplement w/fiber.

  • @Chrisisms : I don't supplement with fiber, I get plenty from all the vegetables and fruit I eat. You see? You known ZERO about me and my diet. Stop with the silly statements that come back to bite you in the ass. As far as cooked meat is concerned, I've already told you I eat both cooked and non-cooked. You are the one that brought up the topic in the first place.

  • 'I don't supplement with fiber'

Fruit alone provides sufficient fiber, particularly wild fruit w/skin. But what are u doing to compensate for meat? Real carnivores consume fur with meat, which acts as fiber. u must be drinking lots of water to push the meat along the digestive tract, reducing the putrefaction dysbiosis and extended mucosal exposure to the toxins in the rotting meat. By the way, how did your research on intestinal flora go? u seemed to have switched the subject as a smokescreen..

  • @Chrisisms : 1. I drink about 6 glasses per day of water and green tea. What research? I looked at your study. Was I supposed to find a study refuting yours? Smokescreen? You are the paranoid one aren't you. Your study was presented to back your claim that we are vegan species was it not? Sorry but there are no studies that come to that conclusion. I can find many studies on vegan and vegetarian diets that indicate their inherant problems. You don't have to look hard to find them.

  • @auggiedoggy I drink about 6 glasses per day of water and green tea'

Yeah, lots of fluid to wash down a toxic diet...

tea helps destroy beneficial bacteria u ignore...

Int J Cancer. 2009 Aug 1;125(3):491-524. High-temperature beverages and foods and esophageal cancer risk--a systematic review. Coffee, tea and maté may cause esophageal cancer (EC) by causing thermal injury to the esophageal mucosa.

    'What research?'

    Ahhh nevermind, dog...

'Was I supposed to find a study'

    Go w/your 'feelings'...

  • @Chrisisms : Six glasses isn't a lot. Lower than the recommended 8-10 glasses per day. The study is a joke. All those poor Asians drinking green tea are all going to die before their time. LOL. You go through life afraid to make a move without a study to tell you its ok or not ok. Do you think these healthy long-lived populations care about studies? This is amusing ...

  • @Chrisisms : My comment about not eating a 'ton of meat' as you say was aimed at you and other vegans who seem to be under the mistaken impression to think that people who include meat in their diet eat a lot of meat. Some of us eat a lot of meat. My diet is plant-based supplemented with meat. Modest amounts of meat don't seem to hurt the Okinawans much, does it?

  • 'My comment about not eating a 'ton of meat' as you say'

This was covered. your comrade spoke of 'a tone of carbs'. u seemed to have jumped in... But why?

'vegans who seem to be under the mistaken impression to think that people who include meat in their diet eat a lot'

    ??

'Some of us eat a lot of meat'

    So you're minimalizing now...

'My diet is plant-based supplemented with meat'

Like 99% of the population, u share their diseases risks.

    'Modest amounts of meat'

    Provide modest disease risks.

  • @Chrisisms : The only problems the Inuit had is when they switched to a "civilized" diet. Their traditional diet served them very well. A healthy diet is one where you don't have to rely on enriched foods. If you have to add calcium or B12 or whatever to soy guess what, it isn't a real food to begin with. It requires processing to make it edible. A healthy natural diet consists of foods that don't have to be enriched. So, what natural food source would a vegan have to choose to get B12?

  • 'problems the Inuit had is when they switched to a "civilized" diet'

    That's a problem w/EVERY civilized culture.

'common notion that coronary heart disease is rare among Inuit, possibly due to a high intake of omega-3. Scientific evidence for this is weak and to some extent based on uncertain mortality statistic. Overall prevalence of CHD was 10.8% in men and 10.2% in women. The highest prevalence was observed in the least westernized areas in Greenland. Atherosclerosis. 2008 Feb;196(2):772-8.

  • @Chrisisms more nonsense, you are not taking into consideration size of a person. a flat rate for all people is simpy ridiculous. well whatever try again!

  • @Chrisisms wow how drunki are you when you get on here?

  • @Chrisisms actaully it was the natural choice of our ancestors millions of years ago.

  • @MisterNutrition Are you intentionally topposting sentenc fragments in order to hide from the topic?

Regardless, I can guess at what you are complaining about. u are expressing concern that meat wasn't the 'natural choice of our ancestors'

Meat is biochemically incompatible for ALL extant hominoidea, digesting fruit best with opposing digestive processes. Meat causes diseases that are reversed with fruit intake. u may 'choose' to consume meat but it isn't genetic instruction for humans.

  • @Chrisisms absoultely false, it is people like you that create all this nonsense. please tell me then if meat is SOOO deadly how the hell are we here arguing about it? humans have been eating meat for MILLIONS of years, LONG before anyone EVER ate a vegetable, that is a very new idea. use just a little logiv, read a book, etc,

  • @MisterNutrition 'use just a little logiv'

    I'll try, missesdisease...

  • Strange . i am a strict veggie. No meat, No eggs, Purely veggy. 30 years old and have a great physiqe . Hit the gym reglarly and have no illness. The same goes to most of the people in my family... Did you say... "impossible to be healthy without it!!!"

  • yep, impossible to be healthy naturally without it, try not taking all those supplements you love for a week or two, you will see. oh and the gym? so what there are tons of obese people and a few anorexics at my ym all the time, are they healthy?

  • It's not strange to me, because I know real nutrition, unlike Mr.NUTriton. BTW, his comment about supplements: When I went Raw Vegan, I STOPPED taking ALL supplements(1st time in 15 years. I understood supplements were no longer nessessary eating this naturally). My protein and fat intake was cut in Half. It's been over a year - I feel better.

  • @Gary1111001

    hope you enjoy diabetes

  • Although your sarcastic remark says a lot about you and your beliefs ...... I'll clarify it.

Diabetes is not caused by a diet of fat and protein levels found in natural food. It's more likely caused by eating a dis-proportionate amount of those.

    Diabetes has been improved by:

    Raw diets

    Very low fat diets.
