  • Oh 1900's even though, it will still take 100 years for me to be born. I still kinda love the old movies that has been published around this year, even though they are all old. They still beat the shitty Disney 3D stuff and shitty plots. All i watch in Disney now is Phineas and Ferb, Oggie and the cockroaches, i forgot the other ones but these are the things i usually like. Yeah their series not movies..

  • OMG! Hercules was the first Disney movie to come out after I was born! It's a sign! <3

  • I love watching this and suddenly remembering the old movies I used to watch but had forgotten about!!!

Like Bugs Life! I was always creeped out by that one....

  • You forgot tarzan lol. My favourite is Aladdin.

  • Comment removed

  • Sleeping Beauty came out in January 1959. They started making it in 1953, but Walt Disney created Disneyland in the middle of the project, so it wasn't finished for a while.

  • my faviort disney movie is THE FOX AND THE HOUND

  • Pocahontas came out 5 days after I was born

  • I am one week older than Hercules

  • where is finding nemo!!!!! :( findign nemo has to go on there also one of my childhood favorites :(

  • You skipped a lot of movies from the 1940s.

The Rescuers date of release is wrong... it was in the 70s, not 1989.

You skipped The Rescuers Down Under and Tarzan.

  • Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Toy Story, Aladdin, Hercules, Mulan, Bugs Life.... AAAHHHH theres too many good ones!!!!! :D

  • the rescuers did not come out 1989 that was the sequal down under

  • Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, & Aladdin

  • Lion King

  • Aladdin is my favourite because I love the characters, songs and plot.

  • im collection the disney classic collection! just for the childhood memories to watch them over and over again!

  • everytime i saw one came out on my birthday i freaked out. :D

  • manly tears T.T

  • god, disney kind of sucks now. BRING BACK THE OLD DISNEY <3

  • @ocampoysabellee kind of? i think it does suck now compared to this stuff

  • @ocampoysabellee tell me about I grew up on most these movies but now I'm almost embarresed to watch most new age disney movies ;-)

  • Ah back in the days when Disney made it all by hand and put down their souls into the production picture by picture. now....it's all fast computer production and a few rare cases can barley compete whit the golden classics. they are even starting to leave the cartooned world TT^TT

  • You forgot Cinderella

  • @mjones715 no i didn't, it's in at :40 :D

  • I started to sniffle at some of these especially when i realized that Mulan <3 <3 <3 was released on my second birthday :')

  • I'm not cryong my eyes are just watery that'a all. *sniffles*

  • and especially when i see the little mermaid and beauty and the beast i cry cause i was born in 1990 n those r the 2 i mostly grew up with besides pocahontas and mulan and i still have my beauty and the beast magical talking hand mirror

  • ive watched every movie ever mostly of walt disney from the 80s even a few from the 50s n 70s n for my fave movie i love every one cause its my childhood its what made me a true neverending kid at heart what i am and will forever be until i die but my most faves are pocahontas beauty and the beast the little mermaid mulan n i even still have the 101 dalmations snowglobes i got from a mcdonalds happy meal

  • Does anyone count The Princess and the Frog? I'm not just sayinh that because of the style is was done in but because it was a good movie. Disney did a fantastic job on that movie and I think it deserves more credit than it got. But that might just be me.

  • @desireeandothers i think it was a good movie, going back a little to their old style keeping some of the hope up that they won't leave that kind of movie making

  • Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, The Jungle Book ;)

  • The Lion King, Fantasia, Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast are my favorites.

  • YOU SKIPPED TARZAN, that came out June 18, 1999

  • Seen it, love it,seen it, own it, a cute movie, check, seen it, JUST watched it, an ALL time favorite, romantic like, love that fairytale, ah amazing, *gasp* I LOVE THAT MOVIE, seen it the books were adorable, the bear neccaties the simple bear neccaties, mom saw that one in theaters, robin+maid maryian, almost made me cry, that one was so underrated and good!, haven't seen it yet to the web!, haven't seen that one either, I love the ending, *gasps* ALL TIME FAVORITE SINCE I WAS 3!!!!!!!!!

  • ~To make the world a better place to live, if it looked like fairytale. And if we could fly, speak with animals, fairies, isn't it? And if all the fairytales characters really existed.<3

  • the pooh movie makes me sad... wel all of them but specially pooh

  • I LOVE classic disney movies, but once Walt himself died things went down hill and yes I know it got much better with the Little Mermaid but still. They just didn't have the classic style and joyous charm they had a too modern style.

  • My most favorite movie would have to be Fantasia. But there's just too many good classics! XD

  • Bambi and the aristocats, because I watched it when I was little, on a VHS :)

  • wheres who framed roger rabbit?

  • i love them all brings back memories of childhood*tear* and it was a hell lot better than the crap their trying to feed kids now!!!!!

  • i fucking cried with the fox and the hound ;D and i still cry to date, but my fave one's gotta be Aladdin :D

  • erm..hello! WHERE IS TARZAN!

  • Oh yeah, and don't forget about The Nightmare Before Christmas

  • And I just noticed there's no Tarzan...I loved Tarzan

  • Wasn't Snow White Walt's first animated film?

  • @heartlessman554 Depends on what your definition of a "film" is...

  • @khonsmosis I mean like movie and stuff

  • Pinocchio...

It's a classic, lovable movie that has one of the best Disney songs...when you wish upon a star. Beautiful all around! :)

  • tbh my fave is Beauty and the Beast ( it's been my fave since i was 1) but i also LOVE the Hunchback of Notre Dame and The black cauldron because they scared me and facinated me so much that i just HAD to watch em again . actually i love all the Disney classics from Snow white to Tangled :)

so i'd say my top 5 would be

1 Beauty and the beast - beauty is found within

    2 Hunchback of Notre Dame

    3 The black cauldron

    4 The great mouse Detective

    5 Treasure Planet

  • Lion king, little mermaid, and aladin would have to be my favorites but I love all of them :) now if you exuse me, I have to go watch sleeping beauty becuase I just say it in this video :P

  • most fav part : ATLANTIS!

somehow i realized that avatar (2010) copied the disney atalantis you know, that's kinda sucks :s

  • i think the sword in the stone is one of those famous ones that people always forget about

  • I love the lion king and mulan.but every disney movie is beauthiful :-)

  • Omg, I forgot all about these movies. My fave is The Rescuers :') thanks for bringing back memories.

  • Actually all the Disney movies u listed are really awesome :)

  • Aladdin is the best.

    I love that movie!!

My top 5 in no order:

    1. Aladdin

    2. Cinderelly

    3.Beauty And The Beast

    4.Little Mermaid

    5.Toy Story 1 and 2

I hate the new 3d disney. The classic ones are better. Disney sucks now, they ruined it with the jonas brothers, high school musical and hannah montana.

    Awesome video btw :)

  • I have to say my favorites are Lion King and Robbin Hood. Their disney classics. Now the only thing Disney has to offer is junk. If they do make a movie it isn't hand drawn as they used to be.

  • @LaurenNP36 Just finished Treasure Planet and that is THE BEST!!!!

  • my fav disney classic movie is and will always be the hound and the fox. i saw it as a young child. dont hate me for the bad english

  • am i the only guy here a fan of disney classics? i feel ashamed but i cant help it O_O

  • @icefire987 im a huge fan :]

  • Mulan was always my favourite; and still is today! (: I love it because nobody believed a woman could fight for her country; and yet she SAVED her country, disguised as a man. But I have to say I also loved The Little Mermaid, cuz its awesome ^w^ x

  • I love 'em all!!! (except for A Bug's Life, that movie was just stupid) I also liked Treasure Planet, even though it wasn't on thevideo, cuz it was freakin' awesome! :)

  • The 90's was the golden age of Disney. Nostagia, sigh ;(

  • Mine is Pocahontas because it reminds you to listen to your heart.

  • Beauty and the beast

  • Cinderella because it shows anything can happen.

  • mulan becuase she is awesome and the movie is awesome period TT^TT i wanted a 3 movie for like the after story when they have children or something >w<

  • Lion King!!

I love how theres a strong point about family mixed in with love, hate and strength.

  • Seen all of them!! :) and pleased that i am officially a Disney freek xD

  • @charlenefoxy me too!! i love disney! except i havent seen all of em. i just sasw the lion king it it got me good :)

and some others like mulan etc

  • My favourite is definitely Lion King. Although I have a hard time choosing between all the movies in the 1990 -1999 time period...

I noticed that Disney went into a creative slump around 1970 - 1980s, right after 'Lady and the Tramp'. Then they came back with a bang with 'The Little Mermaid' in 1989. Hopefully that's what happened to Disney in the 2000s. Just another slump.

    '

I'm kind of optimistic because this year we were treated to 'The Princess and the Frog', so here's to Disney again!

  • i love simba in the lion king i think the movie should be number1

  • I remeber playing games about being the lions in lion king and i cryed in the movies. But I was always in love with Peter Pan. But all of these classics ones stand still in my heart

-And I LOVE the Great mouse detectiveee !! IMMA Try and find it & watch it ! haha

  • walt passed away after the jungle book.

that was the last disney classic he himself made.

  • Its funny how even though they are 2D the classics still have more depth and substence then the the 3D ones today. if you know what i mean.

  • I don't know if you forgot or if you didn't know about it but Song of the South came out in 46. even if its never been released on video dvd etc. in the u.s. its still a disney movie and a classic.

The best is The Lion King. It would take to long to explain why.

  • The Rescuers came out in 1977. And you forgot Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time, The Rescuers Down Under, Tarzan and Fantasia 2000.

  • Alice in Wonderland, but Peter Pan comes in at a close second. :)

They both tell the stories of main characters all around the age of 12 (younger than most Disney characters) that go into fantasy worlds. They seem to appeal to me, as a younger viewer that has a wild imagination. :)
