@jjinexile21 doubt it. The 6990 will be really tight in the case since it is so long. I don't even use the duct as you can see. and my 900Mhz 570's stay pretty cool. Since the fan is in the middle on the 6990, I think that the side fan will provide all the fresh air you need for one or two cards in crossfire.
@wolvenring2 2000mhz. I run them at 1866 for my 24/7 clocks along with the CPU at 5Ghz. My current bench clock is 2133Mhz on the ram and 5.1 Ghz on the CPU. But, it's only bench stable. With the really high voltage to get the CPU to 5.1, it's never going to be a 24/7 clock.
@cbremer83 cool i got it to 2200 MHz and 5,0 Ghz and it is stable but now I run it at 2133 MHz and 4,8 GHz 24/7 PS what kind a light is that on the left its much more red than my CCFL's
@zachfaulks15 No. You can build a good one for $600-800. Around $1000 will build a nice one. This build is a bit more extreme than the average gamer has or needs. But you can go ever farther. A lot farther actually.
@cbremer83 Hello will this case support future graphics cards like the 7 series Radeon like does this case have the room? Also will this case last a while? Thank you!
@DanielEvitt Well, it fits all current AMD cards. As long as the 7000 series is not much longer, they should fit. There is no official sizes for the cards yet, but I might grab a pair when they are out since nVidia's high end cards wont be out till late 2012
@DanielEvitt As far as lasting, it should. Very heavy gauge steel construction. The only mod I have done to the case it's self is cut a larger hole for getting to the CPU brackets on back.
@SeriousFrank1 The G1.Sniper 2, MIVE, and EVGA FTW are among the best P67/Z68 boards on the market. Any one is really top notch. The G1 and MIVE to offer a bit more than the EVGA though.
@TRDSpecs It's not stock. They are3 Scythe 1900 RPM fans. If you came from one of the old vids, they have been turned around to exhaust the air. I added a Scythe fan in the 5.25 bays to pull more air into the case. Works pretty good.
@TRDSpecs Rubber insulation. The tube stuff kind of like what is used in car doors. Nice tight hold and kills vibration noise at the same time.
I like MX-2 better than MX-4. Get about the same temps, but the MX-2 is a bit thinner so it spreads better. Seems like I can use a smaller drop and get more consistent spread on the heat spreader. Both are good. Just my preference.
A proper water system is in the plans. But I want triple screens first.
hi man do u think the haf x will have any problem with the vga air duct and fitting it with a hd 6990

@wolvenring2 Just a set of CCFL's I picked up at work. Don't recall the brand off hand.

@sarcasticpcgamer Paid $25 for it plus shipping for the RMA. Not overly concerned if it fails.

@cbremer83 AP15 is great fan I just bought 3 of them to use in future for 360mm rad.
for now I will use them to push/pull H70 Rad hopefully using mx-4 paste and changing the fans will give better results.
did you use zip ties to attach the fan to 5.25 bays?

@tomaso1z Thanks. It's a really good board. Little easier to get high OC out of it than some of the normal boards I have used.
