Der's saying he's aware someone else may offer him commitment he wants from Mer :( (That wretched nurse is kissed by Der when he and Mer have agreed to date other people. I think this storyline was messed up due to the writers strike. No question Mer loves Der,but Shonda wanted us to see Mer's childhood demons that made her scared of a commitment. I'd love to know what the S4 storyline was originally, cos it had to be rewritten

Well, he wasn't the entire reason Meredith was scared. She already had deep seeded commitment issues because of her mother and father. And I got the fact that she needed to work those out, I understood it completely. But Derek isn't a just-fun-sex type of guy and he shouldn't have to turn himself into that for her. There are times when I do think Derek is being more of a Mcass instead of Mcdreamy. Lol. But this isn't one of those times. But at the same time, I see where they're both coming from.

NO! NO! NO! Can't you see? The biggest storyline of Grey's Anatomy which draws in so many viewers is the storyline between Meredith and Derek and if they get married there won't be anything left. So they have to keep breaking them up and getting them back together until they see that viewers are getting sick and tired of this and then BOOM -marry them off for the season finale, but until then, they can't get married or the show will be over.
