I think there's a difference between "I love you" and "I'm IN love with you." Like, I have loved every person I've gone out with. I think they're funny, cool, and overall just awesome, so therefore I love them - hence pursuing any level of attachment past that of an acquaintance. Now, for the whole "I'm IN love with you" thing, that is the thing that should wait at least a month or two and is more serious.

@sinisterskills17 not all teen couples are stupid.. i think it's heartless to say such a thing. it's true that the majority are, but i know couples that have been together since they were teens and i have friends (i'm 17) that have been together for years and when i see them together they are so happy and i really i quite admire their relationships.. trust me, it really annoys me too when couples immediately tell each other they love each other but really thats not always the case

You're totally right, man. I myself am only 14, but I do agree with you. But I have no problem with people putting "Hangin with my bf" on their status. They could do without the "text me" bit, yes, but they're simply stating what they're gonna be doing, hanging out with their boyfriend/girlfriend. Nothing wrong with that, right?

@mts2457 Don't fret. He is a lot more mature than you and has more experience in life. It's wiser to take things slow than to jump in and say I love you to a person especially when it's not really true. After dating 1.5 years I'm sure he knows you very well by now( unless you been faking who you are). A year is the point where most relationships decline so after figuring out who you totally are and deciding he loves you that's a great thing.
