It describes for me the split of a soul into twins. She is like a whirlwind, dancing her way on earth. He wakes up because of her dance and the time starts to find her. She freezes herself and waits for him to come. Greater powers make sure that the two halves can become one by giving him the control over the flow. he hits the ball, which is her head with all the knowledge of her path. He sends her back to him, where they embrace eachother and melt together.
I came up with what an idea of what the video was representing... then it got crushed by the craziness.
Was it mother nature giving life to man but always staying apart? It seems to fit fairly well, the beginning is just in her lonely head. She's happy, but she gets tripped up thinking of the idea that there's nobody to see anything with her.
How can it be that I am the first one to comment on this video?
First, the song is completely amazing. A very intense song and probably my favorite by the Dandy Warhols.
Second, the images that this song was putting in my head represented maternal instinct. Very powerful mental images. Not only maternal instinct and nature, but feminine energy.
So I was very pleased by the female presence in this very well done video.
Oh... THIS song! I like this one, just didn't recall the name :)
