  • I too, have had a tbi which paralyzed a muscle in my left and and caused me to have double vision. I had 2 surgeries and the last one made life much more difficult. My balance is terrible, prizim in my glasses can't help because the double vision changes each time I move my head.

People don't understand the many different difficulties that people who have a tbi have. For years, people have made fun of me because I have to do things differently.

  • @criss1956 - you might be able to be helped by prism - check out this web site -

  • @VSofB - The eye doc from a few months said that he didn't think prism would help, so for 4 months, I went w/o prism, which was not fun at all.

Finally, I went for a recheck with a eye surgeon who said that I must have prism to function and that my eyes are the best that they can be, surgery can not help, it will only do more harm. He fitted me with some glasses with the correct prism and now my life is much, much easier and I am so thankful.

  • @criss1956 - prism glsses could possibly help you if they are done correctly - check out this web site for more info - VSofB .com
