if its not a diesel.. it dont need stacks..there r people around where i live with gas motors with stacks i laugh at them all..black smoke is the only thing that should come out of stacks....diesel 4 ever
@TheClown316 well if he uses it for mudding it keeps the exhaust out of the water. mud isnt exactly as easy to move as water and can block the exhaust. have you ever covred the tailpipe of any car or truck. it stalls it so this prevents that from happening
@xatblasterx ok look at the truck you know just as good as i do that truck doesnt see a bit of mud how can i tell look at the fender wells hell i bet it doesnt even see a gravel road
@TheClown316 and on the other hand you dont know if he takes real good care of it and so what if it doesnt look good to you i like it ans apparently he does too. im not trying to argue or be a dick so dont take any of this the wrong way
ive got a 1998 dakota single cab that im gonna be putting stacks on and a cummins in lift it and put a transfer case in its gonna look badass this one looks amazing great job
wow stacks on a gas isnt gay this truck looks pretty badass to me the only reason any of u say its gay is because u wish u had one like his. great video and amazing sound for a gas
@chkmag3610 ok now what bout a cummins and a plain old 1500 magnum or hemi how is it any different? they look exactly the same and stacks are a performance exhaust not just for diesel.
Inside the bed of a pickup = poser. You basically cancel the vehicle's utility since cargo will come in contact with the exhaust pipe, possible melting or fire hazard. If the pipes came OUTSIDE the bed, they at least wouldn't REDUCE the utility of the vehicle.
Sounds good but looks gay. And for the dumbasses ie everybody on here stacks are for diesels people put bullhauler stacks to keep sparks in the exhaust from lighting hay being hauled on fire
@41NS Why buy a diesel? Who says stacks are for diesel's only.. People fail to forget that they were putting stacks on gassers decades before anyone was putting em on diesels.. It can and is said by truck drivers that diesel pickup owners are big rig wannabees. I drive a truck for a living and I have em on my v-8 powerd silverado. Doesnt make it gay. I like the way it looks and sounds. Plus I can blow 10 times the amount of smoke that a little diesel pickup owner can in my freightliner.
did you cut the muffler off? what kinda of power gains did you notice.... does yout motor still have the much needed back pressure it needs to run right way? or do you do stupid shit like this to waste precious cash dollars trying to be "cool"
I think those stacks are super sweet! I have a white (black trim) 2006 Dodge Dakota with stock exhaust deciding on what type of dual exhaust I wanted, ie: flowmasters etc. I am definitely going to look into those! And those guys that think those stacks are gay, then I say just call me bruce girlfriend! Lol
Well for all you fucking fags that are against this truck fuck your selfs. Pretty much all my buddies have stacks on there trucks, because when u go mudding it helps. And another thing all you fucks talking shit dont even owen a fucking truck you probley drive a fucking vw jetta. But kootos to you and your stacks pretty fucking kool. where did you get them?
wow... if you are country you would never....NEVER... put stacks on a gas truck... it sounds horrible and it makes the owner look like a complete fag! leave the stacks for trucks that are spose to smoke!
@foflyable agreed. City boys and their rich parents.... They only wish they could roll with us. Now I have a dodge 1500 but there's no way I would ever disgrace it by putting on "diesel" stacks.
@Chevy4x4shortbox Stacks are not for "diesels only". They have been putting stack's on gas truck's way longer than anyone with a diesel thought to do so. Last production truck with stack's was dodges little red express truck with the 360 V-8. Their is nothing "City boy" about putting stack's on a gas truck.
@CSXtrackworker amen to that brother. people always say ohh it doesnt blow black smoke. its my truck it looks cool and sounds good im gunna do it. ya know?
@JustRide626 Abcolutely. I have a 2008 silverado with the 5.3 V-8 in it. I have dual 6inch aussie cut stack's on it. I love the way it look's and the way it sound's. With the recent EFI live tune I had installed, the exhaust sounds 10 times better now. One thing I always notice is people will always talk shit on youtube, but yet in person not a word will be said. LOL
those stacks make great trash cans I'm not hating but its not a diesel bro you need back pressure or you WILL drop valves just my imput put a super 10 series flowmaster it'll still be loud as fuck and you won't have the problem I stayed earlier
Mammabear is a fat American smartcar driver that when she gets in a car crash her face is going to get to know that big trucks bushgard will see who's a retard then ah fuck face
Looks like you spent a couple hundred dollars to make your truck worth a couple thousands less. But hey, its YOUR TRUCK!! Doesnt matter what other's think. Love my Dakota quad!
I consider myself a Mopar man, my daily driver is a Ford Ranger, but I have a 78 Power Wagon W200 that is my baby. I think if this guy has a blast in his Dakota, well that's good enough for me. The stacks I think are a different way to hop up a gas truck and why run with the crowd when you can break away. Mopars have always been a little different and there isn't anything wrong with keeping to that.. Keep doing what you're doing man. Nice truck. Mopar be with you. \m/
@koolerv8kid I agree with your comment. I have dual stack's on my 1500 silverado. I like the way they look and sound. I am not a bandwagon diesel owner, nor do I care to be. I see quite a few V-8 engined pickup's around with stack's by me as well and if that is what they like too, then more power to them. It's your truck and you do to it what you please!!
Im sorry, but those stacks look nice but arent for a Dakota, and I own a Dakota. TIP OF THE DAY: Use the money you spend on the chrome stacks for 4 tires that are actually........ THE SAME BRAND!
ya a dakota is a truck but stacks are so dumb on a gas truck stacks r for diesels ONLY.....and only the v8 dakotas r trucks because v6 and under r for little piss cutter cars......
@slight87 I know that dude. My comment was for the one guy who commented that "Stack's are for diesel's only". I Was trying to get an intelectual reply back from him. 95% of diesel owner's who say that stack's are for diesel's only have no intelectual reply other than the shit comment they originally made.
@MrMattiecakes yes why is that.. is that because all you see is diesels driving around with them.. I guess they all have to be black too right and lifted and sweet bumpers and lots of extras just to go to the mall.. everyone has their way of doin things. all the comments but no one puts what they drive on here.. I happen to like the look of this truck, but the stacks i don't.. but guess what.. not my place to tell him how to spend his money or tell him how to dress up his truck
@timmabizzle Whats a real truck.. a full size? or diesel? or a big rig? whats your take on a real truck.. Pretty sure my dakota is a TRUCK.. A mid size truck with the power of most full sizes! I would think that would be a real truck.. To each, their own.
no welding at all.. add a leafs are good but they really stiffen the ride.. it all depends on how high you want it and what you use it for. a 3 in and t-bar is plenty for a good set of 33's. the lift came from P.A. off the net some where..
