Vivian Williams plays it more "authentically polka" and her rhythm is right on, but this is still a nice version.

If you watch the other videos by docandthelady, you will see that they don't play any of the old-time fiddle tunes "authentically". I enjoy them more than most because their versions are unique, and they're fun to watch.

Most of the bluegrass performers are boringly stiff, including the Vivian Williams version you suggested. I think that is why many young people don't enjoy bluegrass anymore.

But, opinions are like...everyone has them.
