@CrazyClaire88 The Green Bay Packers are a football team in Wisconsin. These people were obviously huge fanatics. lol. It just made me laugh. I grew up in Green Bay so it was a common sight to see this sort of thing. I hadn't seen that in awhile so to see it in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan was funny to me.
It just occurred to me that I've never went camping before, odd! Someday perhaps! Thank God there are no bears in Ireland! Holey Moley! I am in love with your dogs - sooooo cute! I wouldn't worry about your hoody being all tight and cosy - you look 'as snug as a bug in a rug" hehe!
@CrazyClaire88 In town there were signs warning you about the bears at campsites too. It was a little unnerving. I love my doggies! I felt as snug as a bug in a rug too so who cares what I looked like?! LOL!
Again, loved every minute of it! Who would ruin fried cheese curds with ketchup? Eww. Funniest thing I ever heard on YouTube? "I have a 1/2 lb of meat in me". I'll never get over that one, I'll be telling all my friends and we will laugh for years to come! Did you not realize how that sounded when you said it? Epic moment for sure! You make me happy. @daisylocust lol. We found later that there are lockers at the campground to put food in if you don't want to put it in your car. So different from the campground we go to in WI. Crazy that the bears are a problem in Michigan. Scary!
you guys are soo funny! and i dont think you looked wierd you look adorable with your little hoodie..and omg your dogs are soo freaking adorable! and yeah you are brave if i thought there might be bears out there, there is noooo way i would sleep out there...eek!...oh btw when you say you cleanse what kind of cleanse do you do, i am about to do an isagenix cleanse..i did it before and i lost all kinds of wieght..and boy howdy did it "cleanse" me out lol ;)....i have to visit michigan one day :)
@daisylocust I actually slept really good. I thought every noise would freak me out but once I was out I was out! lol. I actually have never gone on a cleanse diet. I've been thinking about it though. If you have one to recommend let me know. I'll google the isagenix cleanse. I've been going to the U.P. of Michigan my whole life. My dad grew up there but I've never been to this area. It really was beautiful. We got to enjoy it more as the weather got better.
@camiloveskiwi lol. The weather was crazy. We left our cooler out which was empty and the next morning there was a note on it that said all coolers need to be left in a locked car due to bear safety. That scared the crap out of me. :) Don't know how I slept so well, but I did. :)
lol i'd wear my hood up like that too :) it looks pretty chilly indeed, but at least you have a little milo to cuddle with :D those cheese curds look so freaking good! i'm a cheese lover for sure !! :) ps. what colors polish are you wearing? just curious..... wo the waves at 12:53 are so freakin gorgeous, with that sunset, i have to say some of the most beautiful sunsets i've seen have been in michigan :)
@cupcakeonawire Milo is like a mini heater when he gets under the covers. Its great. April slept in the tent too but she slept on her blanket on the floor. :) The polish is Do You Lilac It? By OPI. I got it from Lindsay! I love it! The waves were amazing!!! That was the perfect spot to watch the sunset each night too. :)
@PBmommyPL everytime i see him it makes me want a milo of my own :) and that color of polish is absolutely lovely, i should have known lindsay picked it out for you! :) i love that you included that sunset, the view from where you were at was so ethereal <3
