this car had a biog crash today at qaulifying at wsid joe walked away but the car didnt look very good hope they get it back out as its a very tough car

well youre the moron. takea good look at the chassis, it looks to me like a shortened chassis. well if you changed the sticker, dont you see a strong resemblence? I think that "gasmotorsports should chime in and tell us some basics on how the car was born before it claims fame. thats all.

My point was that they seem to be more than capable of building awesome engines and cars. Do a search for GAS Motorsports, theres also a video on here somewhere of a 1900hp 2JZ they built, still only 3.0L too.

If I had enough money, sure I can go to titan and say" gimme a 1900hp 3 liter like a copy of their winning engine. they eaven offer a engine program in their site
You claimed they didnt built, I cant prove they did (as I am well aware of where the Celica originally came from) so I instead pointed out that this isnt their first successful car.
Their credibility in the drag racing world isnt based entirely on this car, which is why I thought your original comments were a little un-called for.
Gas motorsport are the australian branch of TMS. I know they did not built the chassis but the engine is a 3.0litre 2j not a 3.5 that TMS use in their current record holding scion. So yes its is their own engine, also when a car of that caliber is bought you only get the chassis and shell so anything to do with the engine and data logger is taken out, so the set up and tuning are all gas motorsport
It may be an american car, but if you look at the GAS website, they stripped the thing completely, totally rebuilt it, put a new motor in it etc...essentially all they bought was the chassis by the time it was done.... its as much "their own car" as anything.

The shell is made of carbon fibre , rj race cars dont make a supra one.

I dont specifically know about the Celica I pretty sure the Camry was built entirely by GAS and I saw it run a 6.9x pass out at Willowbank.
This is by no means the only awesome car GAS has built. I cant help but think youre a complete moron to post such comments.
