the main problems that arise are from people choosing to do as the prophet did not as he taught people to do, these are two distinct things. The words or the Koran(forgive Western spelling) are often brilliant and wise but the nature of the written language in which it is written is to list towards ambiguity in translation, hence the numerous interpretations, similarly as with the Torrah and in some cases the Bible.
