By focusing on one segment of this marvellous beach it shows more than you expect: it reveals the beauty of the everlasting movement of waves, and the unique purity of this place. I've been on Ohau for six months (teaching as a visiting scholar), two years ago. And Lanikai was most impressive, even when it was raining.
The power of the Mokuluas and beautiful ocean is truly peaceful.

Thanks... I grew up in Kailua from the 60 to 80's. Spent most of my young life in these waters. Thanks again for bringing me home
