@MrPeachJohn I'm not sure what you mean. I saw a large patch of dead grass in the middle of some sand, is that what you were looking at?

Windows movie maker has a 'brightness increase' effect (click on the effects link on the left). Use it 3-4 times on top of a clip where it's dark.
