Hi! I really want to know how I should do my hair b4 goin2 bed coz I'm stretching my relaxer & I don't think it would be good if I brush my hair & wrap it around.. Idk if that would do my hair any good! I'll be basically pulling out my hair.. :/
Could u pls give me a tip or something..? should I plat my hair & wear a scarf or..?
@miss212AUT I would usually put my hair in bantu knots or bun, sometimes I comb my hair all back and tie a long scarf I go underneath the hanging hair.......I might have to do a tutorial, right now my hair is in a high bun
Girl I just went to my mailbox and my potion is here already, just ordered it on the 7th!! Just took out my kinky twist lasnight and washed my hair. Im 18 months post so i should probably measure my hair before i start using it. I'm so excited I don't even know how to get started!! Lol!
I'm going to watch your vid on how to use it for a refresher!! Love your videos!!
@chelseayoko yaaaay I'm so happy for you.... you got it super fast. OMG your 18 most post!!! I can't wait to get there because I will be closer to my big chop.....I think you should measure it first.......Thanks so much for watching my videos....HHG I wish you the best of luck.
Ordered my potion!! I'm so excited!!! Currently are you putting heat(blow dryer and flat iron) in your hair or are you just air drying and using the stretching method?
@chelseayoko I normally flat iron my hair 1x a month the last time I flat ironed I wore my hair straight for 5 days and got bored so I will not be adding any heat to my hair for a while. I air dry my hair 99.9% of the time with my stretching method my hair has became so much thicker by air drying
my opinion i think you should stick to one product. u using too much stuff esp oils and i also think you shouldnt dye your hair its just as damaging as perm. eventually u gonna have to do the big chop
I purchased it from Walmart, I think it was $3.48, I really wished I had got two, I will have to go back this weekend.
Keep the videos coming....you are really inspiring me to stick with this hair journey, my husband just doesn't get it, that's why I'm glad I can get inspiration from your channel...Thanks again :-)
@theorghellokitty I totally feel you, I don't think no man gets it my boyfriend said he really don't care but you know what, when it's all said and done our hair will be so long and beautiful and they will be looking at us like wow how did you do it.......they don't really get to see many Black women with long hair. I asked my boyfriend for his support and I sat down and told him all about the healthy hair care on youtube and the hair care forums and I think he gets how important it is to me now
i love the video im 20 weeks post relaxer !! i wanted to know can u do a video whenever u wash your hair. how you detangle with all the new growth. ive been having problems with thats.
@wallsbrandie sure, I will be washing my hair on the 14th or 15th. Try to wash your hair in four section what I do is part my hair in four I add coconut oil as a pre-poo, detail and twist it up, I wash and work on a section at a time when I detangle I use lots of conditioner then I detangle under running water and twist it back up. I will post a vid on it I will be 19 weeks post. check out my video How I stretch and detangle my hair it's a recent video but I do it deffrent so I will record. Thnx
the Roots Only bottle is at Walmart hanging on a wire display near the hair color in most stores but sometimes just anywhere in the hair care section.
@Hairlistadiva86 I've heard some lista's say it got through there thick natural hair and I've heard some people say that it doesn't get through the new growth but when I wash and apply to my hair I will be able to tell since I'm 4 1/2 months post I have so much new growth and I have some thick natural hair.
@Hairlistadiva86 you have to do what's best for your hair I hear that when people transition to natural and then they go back and relax they often regret it. If you are taking care of your hair then it doesn't matter if your relaxed or natural. I feel so good that I'm inspiring you I can't wait until I'm 11 months post
Omg that applicator bottle is such a good idea. I was in my bathroom last night oiling and hot like fire lol. Girl if you ever come to Brooklyn we need to go shopping. I love love love that bow ring :) lol
@NewKrystal4Life I got this ring from forever21 I'm in Philly and can you believe I never been to New York I always wanted to come. This applicator bottle is the truth and saves me time.
Aw I sent the email asking the question! Thanks for responding =) I'm placing my order Fri, maybe sooner so hopefully we can journey together! Whats ur updated regimen with the oil? Is it wash and condition weekly and then oil nightly? I'm assuming the oil can replace the moisturizing right since it's the same?
@Everydayisajournee I still wash and condition weekly but since I'm wearing it straight it will be like this for 10 to 12 days I moisturize my ends every other day with my Eli natural shea butter and seal with a lighter oil such as my coconut oil or profectiv mega growth oil both are great at preventing breakage the potion is a little to thick for my ends. Lets do this journey!!!! I'm so happy and excited for everyone on a hair journey.
A question what are your thoughts about Texlaxing ? With my fine hair I know I should continue going natural in order to get any kind of thickness or fullness look. Just thought.
@MsYlilit I would say continue to transition......if you want to soften your natural hair then texlaxing is for that but I think transitioning to natural will give you more thickness and stronger healthier hair. I will continue my transition because I'm loving my thickness and I'm loving my natural hair texture it's totally up to you and what you feel best for your hair. I will be doing a natural transition update soon because I definitely want to encourage anyone that wants to go natural
Hi Kiki, Thank you! That was a great video! I'm going to have to invest on a root comb. And gurl your hair looks wonderful!! It looks healthy & full. Have a blessed day!
@MsYlilit Thanks so much, I feel like the fuller my roots become and the longer my hair gets the thinner my ends look but I know that's to be expected
