I think i have a short haired pointer but im not sure lol. he has black and white spots (definently not a dalmation, haha) and kind of looks like this one (:
Aww, GSPs are so clever. Mine is the first dog I've ever been able to train to speak, roll over, play dead (with a dramatic spin before layin down) and pick things up. She does similar thing with the towel and it is such a god send when your doing laundry and drop a sock or whatever cuz she'll pick it up and pass it to me.
@shatrazandatraz For go to bed I would reward him whenever he went to his bed and just added the command over time. For get the towel, I would use an old rag and play with him and say get the towel whenever he grabbed it. After a while I put it on the towel holder and had him grab it from there. I got him to retrieve it to me by having him chase me at first, and then after many repetitions he would just come to me. Basically you should just make training into a game for the dog.
how do u do it i have a german short hair its 1 year old and she dosent listin at all and its so strong and i could never get her to come back 2 me and dont listen
@rye388 It just takes patience and consistency. Always stay positive and turn the training into a game. Don't get disappointed when the dog doesn't get it immediately, just keep working and make sure you and the dog are having fun. You should check out zakgeorge21's channel for more dog training tips. Hope this helps and good luck!
Absolutely brilliant! =) He's smart to say the least, Max has a lot to learn. I love how he readjusted his grip on the towel to get it. Your enuciation is perfect too.
@eredeath I used a lot of techniques from Zak George. His youtube name is zakgeorge21. He also has a show on Animal Planet called Superfetch. His video on clicker training is a great introduction. You should definitely check him out. Most tricks involve luring him into accidentally performing the desired trick and then rewarding it over and over until he start to perform the trick on his own.
awww cute :)
