  • Every God-Dang one of ya

  • Talk about a "one man army"

  • Sporting them converse

  • This is one of the best examples of Jim Varney's talent !

  • He said "golly bob howdy" just like Slinky from Toy Story!

  • "I've got women folk from the settlement!" Hahahaha

  • LMFAO Chief Running Vern?! WTF?! *dies in a fit of laughter* XDDDDD

  • I've lived by the fort where they filmed this my whole life and I never knew that they actually filmed it here in Fairmont, WV.

  • man jim verny was so amazing

  • I like how he's wearing Chuck Taylor's.

  • What are these sketches from?

  • @Fragminion from something called ernests family album i use to have it on dvd

  • " Luke's escaped! He chewed through the wall! The nightmare has begun! " lmao

  • @TheAltair4 My brother and I do that all the time. And 'did him say Luke?' and I do the 'ein! Two! Was he, was he two or three? He was three Bozo, try it again!' LOL LOVE this man, he was so funny. My brother said only thing that would've made it better was if they edited it so you didn't see him switching hats all the time, made it look like they were actually all there.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Yeah, Jim was a true comedic genius. Sadly, this isn't the original full length version of the sketch. There was some more funny dialogue between the corporal and native american chief in the original version. It's interesting to note that as the sketch progresses you start to see less and less of him switching hats until at the very end all of the different characters seem to appear simultaneously.

  • comedy genius

  • the one guy that disliked this is probably dead

  • I find it pretty funny at the beginning of these shows, after he tells Vern about what he found, he is sleeping in the attic beside the family album when he wakes up to discover it.

  • Jim Varney was so talented. I wonder how many movies he was in, including voice work in animated films.

  • Who's the idiot that disliked this?!?!

  • Damn it i want the free gift!

  • too bad Jim passed away grew up watching his movies an watchin the commericals i understood how he developed the characters and things he did in the movies along ith this RIP Jim Varney

  • My favorite one! (RIP Jim Varney.)

  • "It's a bloody-rotten war...but it's the only one we've got."

An incredibly talented and versatile actor...the most characters acted by one person in any skit I've ever seen.

  • This was such a fun skit to watch. I've practically got it down word for word. It's hilarious.

  • "We got 'em outgunned. And besides, we got Luke. I know.....that's why I'm scared." I just want to hug the scared 'Ernest'.

  • Davy Worrell is wearing converse. lol

  • The scared guy reminds me of Bill Murray in Caddyshack.

  • Corp. Davey Worrell is one of the finest enlisted men this man's Army has ever produced...he is a rock amongst men, a testament to valor and honor, and one of the finest warriors any region could ever possibly produce.

  • Im looking for this one .. It was part off the show cant find it .....Pa Worrell: Ernest's elderly father, a World War II veteran who has a politically incorrect view of the world. His first name is never revealed. He's an avid fisherman and is friends with an African savage named Qui-Quay.

  • "golly bob howdy!"

  • anyone remember Pop Worrell? If anyone has it PLEASE post... I think the mental dialogue at the end (trading the virus with the Andrews Sisters for a 1936 Chrysler) is how I want to remember MY own Pop lol.

  • is one of them german? or am i hearing things ?

  • all i know of is that he was in the ernest movies and toy story. but he could of done alot better this video proves that he could of done many great roles

  • He is and was the most flexible and talented man to ever live.

  • Gotta love the old family album of Corporal Davy Worrell and his good ol, clean and spit shined converse shoes.

  • this shows varney was so much more than ernest as an actor. so talented. it was a shame he never got to be much more than ernest. i consider jim varney one of the most talented actors the last 30 years!

  • LMAO "1:44-1:47" "GOL-LY BOB HOWDY, Look at all them indians" xD <3

  • lmao

  • Luke's Escaped....He chewed thru the walls the nighmare has begun!

  • I think Jim Varney was very underrated as an actor. Not many people can be their own cast. And he may be gone from this earth but he is indeed in a better place and his commercials and movies live on with videos such as this one. Thank you for posting.

  • "Have you ever seen winter butter?"

    Priceless.

I think this was filmed at Fort Loudon near Knoxville.

  • Neeeeeiiiiiiiin!

  • he's great in this piece of that show "my family album" -- shows his talent, it really does... :)

  • "You know, your the human scum of the earth, and I mean that in the nicest way possible"

    "We aim to please!" LOL

  • @alchron Heathen, not human

  • @OneTrueEdge Oh right, sorry :(

  • @alchron It's ok. :P

  • this one always makes me laugh!

  • Luke's escaped! He chewed through the wall!

  • lol funny

  • ...but Luke's done stuff that makes me heave. LOL

  • We don't want no free gift!

  • I don't know....I could use a new toaster!

  • More like em tan.

  • more like off-white....more like color of wheat..

  • That was the best John Wayne impersenation I have ever seen!
