@TheAltair4 My brother and I do that all the time. And 'did him say Luke?' and I do the 'ein! Two! Was he, was he two or three? He was three Bozo, try it again!' LOL LOVE this man, he was so funny. My brother said only thing that would've made it better was if they edited it so you didn't see him switching hats all the time, made it look like they were actually all there.
@TheBookWorm1718 Yeah, Jim was a true comedic genius. Sadly, this isn't the original full length version of the sketch. There was some more funny dialogue between the corporal and native american chief in the original version. It's interesting to note that as the sketch progresses you start to see less and less of him switching hats until at the very end all of the different characters seem to appear simultaneously.
I find it pretty funny at the beginning of these shows, after he tells Vern about what he found, he is sleeping in the attic beside the family album when he wakes up to discover it.
too bad Jim passed away grew up watching his movies an watchin the commericals i understood how he developed the characters and things he did in the movies along ith this RIP Jim Varney
Corp. Davey Worrell is one of the finest enlisted men this man's Army has ever produced...he is a rock amongst men, a testament to valor and honor, and one of the finest warriors any region could ever possibly produce.
Im looking for this one .. It was part off the show cant find it .....Pa Worrell: Ernest's elderly father, a World War II veteran who has a politically incorrect view of the world. His first name is never revealed. He's an avid fisherman and is friends with an African savage named Qui-Quay.
anyone remember Pop Worrell? If anyone has it PLEASE post... I think the mental dialogue at the end (trading the virus with the Andrews Sisters for a 1936 Chrysler) is how I want to remember MY own Pop lol.
all i know of is that he was in the ernest movies and toy story. but he could of done alot better this video proves that he could of done many great roles
this shows varney was so much more than ernest as an actor. so talented. it was a shame he never got to be much more than ernest. i consider jim varney one of the most talented actors the last 30 years!
I think Jim Varney was very underrated as an actor. Not many people can be their own cast. And he may be gone from this earth but he is indeed in a better place and his commercials and movies live on with videos such as this one. Thank you for posting.
i love this one.just got the dvd last winter.thank you corporal davy for saving our country way back when. had it not been for you, where would we be today?earnest lives on forever

An incredibly talented and versatile actor...the most characters acted by one person in any skit I've ever seen.
