  • beautiful car! lovely sound.... Great Britain needs Rover back!

  • Best Sound ever, it looks very great the Vitesse, My Dad got a Rover V8 Vandenplads.

  • I often wonder if the Jag V12 would have fitted in the engine bay of these. Of course, BL would never have allowed it, even if it did.

  • Sounds bloody beautiful

  • very loverly car. i love it. cant afford one though

  • Its only 6000 if anyones interested!

  • no sorry mate too expencive for me lol.

  • cheers :)

  • Is that just a universal back box or a complete system?

  • full twin st st system.

  • got a capri at the moment but i fancy summin abit quicker and preferbly thats makes a nice noise....

  • Im torn at the moment, having trouble finding an sd1 but i keep being tempted by other classics such as the MG Meastro thats on autotrader at the mo

  • Good sd1's getting hard to find and pricey. Rebuilt this one over 18 mths 75% new. Had a few mg maestros myself ,loved then and easy to maintain!!! Panels scarce though.

  • Where do you still find these cars? They became virtually extinct by the mid 90's.

  • Oh theres a few out there but mainly requiring work! Theres a few nice ones too. Think most owners just locked them in garages as theres quite a few popping up now.

  • Fair play to ya.... job well done... im looking around for an sd1 at the moment and if i manage to find 1, would love it to sound like yours..... show the local boy racers how a real engine sounds!!!

  • It certainly does that. Also the more modern stuff at those higher speeds when you leave then behind.

  • Nice bit of kit mate, sounds stunnin... what exhaust do you have on it?

  • Cheers. All home made 2" st. st. twin straight though .First silencers in lines made by myself and tails are 2 1/2" cherry bomb with rolled tails. These were put on purely to lower the tone and reduce noise when cruising.

  • absolutely stunning, a credit to you

  • Looking great mate - beautiful car!!
