-The weapon doesn't matter when you can defend. But if you want a specific style, bouncing attacks are the most useful.But be careful while using them,because they are heavy attacks,they can kill you while doing these:

-Chains of Olympus:

Jump- Triangle repetedly ( No name-Not a combo)

-The Gauntlet of Zeus:

L+Square, noting that you have to runaway fast as you can when you do this, because the ones who aren't hit will rush on you.

This and the gauntlet walkthrough is very useful but the ones saying that these don't work must do these and retry:

-Jump often,mostly when they close in

-Parry (Roll) when they hold up their swords to hit(which is used here)

-Sun Shield is very hard to use because it is penetrateable when you don't use Helios Reflect,but if it is the last choice,you have to use it.Reflect makes them bounce back when they attack.

-Timing is very important! If you can't time your attacks you can't win.

Gotta say that you're a legend for winning this thing with the blades in 2 minutes and never using the shield once....finished it with the olympic strike and a few hours of cursing at my psp........the hit detection on this is off the charts unfair

this challenge is pretty hard, i died like 10000000000000 times but the closest i got to winning was only 4 fire guards and i still cant win. the only weapin i use was the blades i might try the Gaunlet now

Gaunlet is best best weapon here.. and do combination of jump + L + triangle..  20 secs. done.. (it depends)

I knew that was the strategy, but I only reached 10 enemies twice. Got the game Thursday and started this one today. The blades have more range, though the Gauntlets are so much more powerful.

thats what i did to pass it but now that i have a shit load more skill i try to mix stuff up. like use blades and gauntlet. i use moves that leave me vunreble but if u get away with it, it is twice as cool. and i make up combos as i go. i takes me about 1 minute longer to do it this way but it looks 100 times better. i think i will make a video and post it on youtube some time. but yes i agrea with u that is the easiest way.

I did this challenge with the Zues Gaunlet and it worked just as well. However, I did parry a lot of attacks since it is a closer range weapon.

Take a wall to protect your back, and than keep: Jump, Jump, Tringle, L+triangle...and keep looking to the fire guards that come from more distance to take the right time to do the "L+triangle" and remember to look the best local to do it, because you need do dmg for the greatest guards you can with every atack...

If you get cornered use sun shield cause it stuns them for 5 sec or use olympic thunder cause it makes them fly.

Try it with zeus gauntlet its fun as hell.....

you just swat them left and right, and once in while new guys pop up and they get blasted sky high in the air and take like 10 secondes to come down =]

man, you have the sun shield. if you press L button immediatly when the enemy strikes, you can parry the strike

That only happens when they don't have the circle button above their heads. When they do have a button on their head, you can perform a finishing move.
