I really miss Jani in Sonata Arctica...Elias just doesnt have the chops when it comes to solos or the energy in general..his playing sounds choppy..not saying he sucks, cause he doesn't at all...just doesn't seem like a good fit for Sonata Arctica.

@mattliebl6199 -The way a keytar is usually set up is that it is synched with another keyboard, in this case his Korg, the Korg acts like a master channel which he can switch the sound on his keytar and have a separate sound on his actual keyboard. The keyboard is wired to the sound board and the keytar is wirelessly connected to the keyboard. At least that's how he said he has it set up when I talked to him back on the Dragonforce tour,which they should've headlined themselves.Damn Dragonforce.

Apparently most of the critics agree that Tony has accomplished the vocals better than ever on the latest album. so I do not agree on the statement that he's losing it. The organizing and the controlling of the level of the various intrruments' volume was far not the best in Lowlands (and thus on this video). Should you go see them live once these days, you'll see that he's constantly improving, even after these years :)
