  • it's a pity that things have to get between people, and when it's not ego it's usually cash. d in toronto

  • I agree that Bobby O is a fantastic producer. He was the one that created Hi Energy music way back in the late 70s.... The genre he started then had a huge part in creating music today, such as Techno, House in the 90s and artists today like Lady Ga Ga !!!

  • Maybe the PSB change their mind when hearing the legendary new Bobby "O" tracks (e.g. "Forever is not long enough") from November 2010......back to the roots.

  • Does anyone know if there are any other videos from this album??

  • outstanding! totally awesome, not heard this before, if released sure to be huge, huge international club hit, possibly number one in america

  • does anybody know if Bobby toured this album at all??

  • @thegoat48 No, there are no information about "Bobby O in tour"

  • A fucking visionary , that's what he is. Bobby Orlando is CLUB MUSIC.

  • AngelArtists, thanks for replying. Shame they couldn't all get together. Maybe one day..

  • I was managing Bobby at the time & the PSB's wanted him to call them, Bobby said they should call him so no one ended up calling anyone.

Then Bobby agreed to do the show but wanted editorial rights which they refused! So thats why he wasn't on it!

I was actually arranging for Bobby to work again with neil & Chris with their management Dave Dorrell but because of this it didn't happen.

    xxx

  • This is regarding the 20th Anniversary show!!

  • I was also working Bobby's new album for UK & Europe too & sent a copy to neil & chris & they were both fighting to get hold of it & running down the street! LoL

  • ....and no, Neil & Crus WEREN'T on any of the album!

  • I agree that bobby o is brilliant and all but the only founders of the pet shop boys were neil and chris and you can't exactly judge the psb's immediatly for not working with him very much, neil and chris would have a reason to stop working with him, obviously I don't know what but remember that we don't know much about them except as musicians.

  • Bobby Orlando is the founder of the Pet Shop Boys. He made them great! Orlando is the best producer.... ever!!!

  • INDEED !!!

  • @Geenflauwekul AGREED

  • thank you to everyone that answered me about the pet shop boys song. I will try that out.

  • Its amazing how the chorus sounds just like Neil Tenant, I bought the cd, the outside the insioe great music. Thanx to Youtube, or I wouldn've never known he made another album.

  • I hope someone can help me. I am looking for a song by the pet shop boys called the boy who couldn't keep his clothes on . It was on a compilation by trax records, but on compact disc. Can someone please put it on you tube,or tell me how to get it? thank you

  • rockn66, you can get "The boy who couldn't keep his clothes on" on itunes (or 7digital if you want an mp3.) Just do a search for it. It's on the bonus disc of the 2001 remastered edition of their album Bilingual. Hope this helps.

  • Its the bside for the single Redletter day, its a 3 track cd single also features another great b side delusions of grandeur.

  • I used to manage Bobby "O" at X-Rated Management. This was NOT a PSB mix, it was Bobby's on mix from the album we promoted.

We did talk to PSB management about Bobby & PSB working together again, but I think Neil wasn't interested.... :-(

  • You would think Neil and Chris should help him out on a project, since he got them their start.

  • please! would somebody post Sorrow (Radio Edit)?!?

  • I do have the album version, I'll pot the whole album in time, check out my channel

  • Yes this is not Bobby & The Pet Shop boys, I doubly think that Bobby will work with them again after they left him for a mayor record label deal and not paying him any royalties for his published songs in their 1st and 2nd albums

  • Not True. Bobby received US$1,000,000 payment from PSB on royalties from EMI for release from contract from 'O' Records. PSB and Bobby Orlando are still friends to this day - and still very much in contact. ;)

  • Errrr, not they are not! I know this for a fact as I MANAGED Bobby for UK & Europe on behalf of Jurgen at X-Rated Management. I tried to get PSB & Bobby working together again but Bobby wouldn't call them & they wouldn't call Bobby, so we left it & then the PSB 20th Anniversary doc came out MINUS Bobby as we couldn't arrange a compromise.

    FACT!!!!

  • Thanks for comfirming AngelArtists. Bobby sure did a good Pet Shop Boys 'knockoff' with this production!

  • @slugfulham Yeah, I still want to get them to work together again as the PSB's have TOTALLY lost their way post VERY. They are too "up their own arses" as far as fans are concerned now, too arty & pretentious. Because of this, their albums no longer sell as much as they did post VERY.

    Sad really....

  • Wow, thanks for the interesting info. Do you know what Bobby is up to these days? I really liked a lot of his tracks from OTI and wished he kept at it.

  • I remember reading snippets about the 20th Anniversary documentary; I'm sure even on the PSB official website they said Bobby "O" would be on there (though I might be wrong, I definitely read it somewhere). I was so disappointed when I discovered he wasn't on it. Still love both PSB and Bobby "O" :(

  • @AngelArtists Thats a shame because he got them started, The first album Please will always be my favorite.

  • @AngelArtists oh well, now he knows how Divine felt when he cheated him out of all his royalties...

  • no Pet Shop Boys on this one....only Bobby O and Jurgen Korduletsch...I know this for a fact.

  • Was the Bass In Your Face mix Neil and Chris? Really? I've got the cd single and it doesn't say anything.

  • Amazon in the USA should have it - but it is old now.

  • Very cool, is the Pet Shop Boys on this and what is this album called?. Good track thanks for posting.

  • The album is Outside The Inside, though this remix will be from the Sorrow cd-single.
