As much as I admire anyone attempting this sort of thing..and all the prep they must have gone through, not to mention the posting, etc.. this short film is an absolute failure. Lynch is all about those inexplicable little moments existing without explanation, for example: a person viewing a videotape of someone who has been assaulted in their car from a distance--yes! But getting up close and having someone help them up--no way! If it had any potential at all, it unraveled right there.
no offence but I didnt see much lynchian about this apart from the lighting on the T.V viewers face. Not very polished, the shots did little for the imagination. too easy to see the strings
Nice one! Really fab tribute to the great man. Loved the scenes at the end, with the freaky chair man changes... but tpesc is right, a dancing midget man speaking in a strange language is always a bonus :)
Lynch is a master of details, sand this seems to be terrible with that.

In search of your own trademark, get inspired by your peers, yet do not copy them. You'd only fail as an artist.

If David Lynch did it:
The tv set would look much simpler
The green had white picket fence and tulips
The wallpapers had a dark red color
The haircuts had more volume
The room light had to be dark brass yellow
The guy in the chair would wear a gas mask
and drink a bourbon

@Hansaplast69 and there had been much more face-close-ups..

@Hansaplast69 The girl would have come to and screamed
Am owl would have watched the whole thing
A diner waitress would have appeared asking if you want more coffee - backwards..........

Being a Lynch fan, I can see the connection. Good effort. Are you non-linear editing?
