@kickinbackinOC im aware of the ZR-1 and its lap time around the ring, i just don't like the way american cars achieve power from their engines... massive capacity and primitive push-rod v8s and superchargers. theres nothing better than the build quality and perfection of a German, especially BMW engines. high revving low capacity DOHC. look at the E60 M5 V10 compared to the dodge viper V10. same power but USA needs 8.4L to achieve 500hp while all BMW needs is 5L!!! my point proven. goodbye!

the corvette door was fake and made for this commercial. real corvette doors have a super strong metal bar frame ( with a figerglass outer cover) which would have made the corvete move forward some and done damage to the front fender at any speed. this one just came apart and didnt even affect the car.

I live in Bowling Green KY where the corvettes are made and they have a museum devoted to them.

All the old guys with their vettes are like that that show up for corvette rallys and everything. And for the love of god do they drive slow.

I like Corvettes too. But I think they are made to be driven. A Corvette is a supercar for 1/4 the price of a Lambo. They are amazingly fast and see some old guy driving them like they are a buick is really annoying.
