  • the music sounds nice.. what is it?

  • wow look how far we have come just sence 2006

  • Fucking old Y-wing technology FTW!!!! :)

  • what size are the fittings and what size is the hose? ID and OD

  • I think the song is on

    watch?v=tfTCnybNYlc&feature=plcp&context=C3d5a4a3UDOEgsToPDskI9fkaGHSBVTjqTCmbyaB0V

  • and yeah ehm that song it's Russian to help me find what the actual song is called :D

  • so i took my time and scrolled all the way to the last comment section to try to find someone that had posted the name of the song being used here but wtf no one knows not even one person

  • That's a monstercase O.o

  • Could I get these parts at HomeDepot or Lows??

  • this helpt me

  • hmm its cool ,, but theres a bit of risk,, even having a 1% chance of water leak can damage some parts ..

May be we can use cold oil instead of water,, coz even if oil is spilled over motherboard ,, it doesnot affect it .

Just my opinion,, no trolling intended lol

  • @ajazaad wrong, using distilled water is non conductive no damage to the parts. IF there's a leak at any time the system will just shutdown. no damage just need to set the leaked on parts evaporate for a day or two

  • So much maintenance. Id hate to have to put in new parts or clean them D:

    Oh well, its worth it.

  • you know i would still like to water cool my computer this way some day its a more satisfying to do it your self. plus if looks awesome, and cools more than just your cpu.

  • I'd love to get a water cooling system, not to big on the whole "water colling" though.

  • components looked so ugly back then

  • then BOOM disaster strikes the tubing disconnects wetting the motherboard

    :'(

  • @MrLeonSre4 that would suck! personally where they used the "cable holders" i would i have used a clamp. (like the ones used in cars for water hoses and stuff)

  • LOL, I'm sure this would have been an awsome guide 5 years ago.

Hehe, good luck plucking off the cooler on your modern graphics cards

  • i like toms hardware musics XD better than 009 sound system

  • danger den . com for your water cooling needs!

  • where to buy a real good one, just for cpu vga and ram

  • Far too much thermal paste being used here

  • who the fuck uses a tower that big anymore,

  • @arashn89 : you should know what you are talking about ... Multi GPU config requires huge motherboards .. if you have seen the size of a UD9 u should know tht it wont fit in anything smaller

  • @arashn89 I use a full tower, so shut the fuk up.

  • made me remember time when ive bought most of all my part to the hardware store.. :P

  • I saw something about Helium cooling

  • They really shouldn't have used zip ties with the heat exchanger.

  • Imaging a leaking... BOOM

  • gj

  • ya this shit is out of date lol all the componets you find in a 10 year old pc that people usually have lying around besides like the water cooler

  • @WrathofBong420 state something that isn't obvious next time

  • @WrathofBong420 It's just a demonstration.. it's almost the same for modern high-end systems

  • What does watercooling it do?

  • @midknight1999 lower temps for overclocking

  • Wow, Back when AMD cores where exposed... no cover plate.

    Amazing.

  • whats the name of the first trance song ?

  • mmmm you need to add a refrigerating system like that your pocessor will be more powerfull , keep in mind litle water is circulating in your system after many hours temperature will increase litle by litle i'm telling you this because i saw the same effect in diferent computers with waterpump . you can buy litle refrigerator for 70$ inside you can put a lot copper tube in many circles than take both end for holes and conect it to your water system , LIKE THAT WILL BE AWESONNN

  • @vectoranime123 Umm, Hello...

This was filmed in 2006, water chillers or "refrigerating systems" didn't exist back then.

And NO you do NOT need one, You just need a big radiator.

2x 120mm rads are all you need.

Refrigeration is very expensive, unless you live in the Sahara I wouldn't waste your money.

  • Would pouring water over the system unit have the same effect?

  • this is old school

  • @1337BananaL33TVostok *cough* look at the date *cough*

  • @ThePresD yes rly

  • Comment removed

  • @1337BananaL33TVostok kick ass old school machine

  • @1337BananaL33TVostok sure is but the principal is still the same

  • hahahahahahahahhahahahahah!!!! This is so old

  • Little retarded question, i am quite new to watercooling. You can buy special oil and stuff but if you wanted could you just use water? :L Thanks TrevB

  • @KSITREVS Dude ask stuff like these in watercooling forums... not on fucking youtube and this video isn't explaining anything it's not a guide. its showing really how it was done 7 years ago.

  • @sonicfan7

By the looks of it 'How to install a PC water cooling system' It tells me that it is actually a guide on how to install a water cooling system. And why should i not ask questions on youtube? ohh wait i know because your a fucking retard!

  • COOL

  • i want the radiator o.o

  • lol water colling? typo

  • what's the radiator's name? pls

  • when i saw the hammer in the beginning i got a little...........strange feeling

  • @berkossa yes, but that's "Tom's Hardware" ;)

  • Talk about old shool... Damn this is old.

  • oh and do you need to install the water cooler for both hardrives? if you have 2

  • can someone tell me whats a network card? i have everything else, also whats the cable in the list of the pc components for? do they just mean all the cables that connect the pieces together?

  • yoooo whats the name of this song?

  • I think a hdd water cooler is not needed.

  • woeps i missed a tube XD

  • does the liquid is normal liquid or special liquid??

  • @aeyman301 It is a kind of special liquid.

  • cant you use oil? im asking because at least if you use oil,if you have a leak you wont get your pc fucked up.

  • gotta water cool that windows 95

  • @bloodsh0t5 Just cause the pc is white and look old doesnt really mean nothing.

  • @TheDeltron09 maybe my comment was based on the fail hardware....

  • @bloodsh0t5 You can run windows 95 with out a fan :/ Soo i dont think the hardware at all.

  • @TheDeltron09 fail.

  • @bloodsh0t5 No you..

  • @TheDeltron09 lol...the best you can come up with is no you..

  • @bloodsh0t5 Well lol i was rushing to do something else. I know you do the same when you text. You rather not reply or send a long text. So thats all i had to say lol. What else you want me to say? Call you names or what? Im not like no other dude on youtube that will sit behind a screen and blap their mouth out. Basically people do it because they know their rival wont find. And those type of people is called " Pussies" Soo dont be one. Heads up. why the hell am i saying this? I love computers

  • -"How cost? :D"

    -"500$"

    -":x"

  • installing the hard drive was the hardest

  • REMEMBER GUYS THİS İS COLLİNG NOT COOLİNG :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    ;DDDDDDD

  • song plz `? the first one :P

  • Comment removed

  • where to buy?

  • you spend money on water cooling for this system :D

  • @vanhophip This was like 5 years ago

  • where can I get this??

  • I'm planning on buying a watercooling system that exhausts air via its 120 mm fan which needs to be placed on the rear end of the case. If I buy a pc case which already has a 120 mm fan installed in the rear, can I just remove that fan and replace it with my watercooling fan? I know its probably a nooby question but yeah..

  • waste of money for such a shitty computer lol

  • @jewie27 Dude this is from 2003 lol

  • Gotta love the two top comments for this video, especially is your weird like me and read the bottom one, then the top one.

  • I bet this was a beast of a gaming pc, back in it's day.

  • Waaaaaaaaaay too much paste.

  • Lol @ using zip ties.

  • LOVE THE VIDEO! And the song, Name? Link?

  • What is worse for flow rate. Tubing corners (not sharp) or height? Appreciate answer ASAP, thanks

  • talking through this would be nice instead of music

  • why not just buy a fan, open up your case, face the fan towards it and turn it on, lol

  • @GTR717 Because that doesn't look cool

  • Its a common misconception that watercooling is actually quieter. The water is cooled with fans, and the sound of the fans and the pump sometimes is the same as a air cooler. Not always, but if you buy a cheap pump and cheap fans then it deff. wont be quieter.

  • Thats some pretty expensive stuff they got there. Just all those compression fittings on the ends of the hoses cost $85 for all of them. And... that innovatek ehim pump is over $155.

  • @pacmanzombie For all that money you might as well invest in a new graphics card/cpu, overclocking doesnt make THAT much of a difference...

  • @SlugNation yeah... so i guess going from 3.4GHz to 5.4GHz makes no difference at all.

  • @philhalo66 Thats not what I'm saying, I'm saying for the 300+ dollars you are gonna spend on a watercooler like this, you might as well buy a new CPU and a sick air cooler.

  • @SlugNation very true but don't go around saying overclocking is pretty much useless because you can get up to 70% more performance for free.

  • @philhalo66 No, I love OCing, Ive got an i5 2500k at 4.6ghz with a 30 euro air cooler. :-)

  • @SlugNation Well, you probably are running it 90+ so its lifetime has been stomped.

  • @MrAbaddon1337 Actually I'm not a dumbass, and its not running at 90+, its running at 55+ under load load. I wasnt trying to diss custom watercooling, Id love to make one myself, but Im just saying for people on a tight budget, like me, there are other options. All you watercool freaks jsut relax... Im not trying to dethrone you... ;-)

  • what is the name for the song or songs in this video??? :)

  • @kaag00

yea realy wana know that to

  • nice spelling "water colling"

  • ppl don't EVER foget to use NEW thermal paste evry time u unscrew a head sink

@SanCo654 jep system is as old as my dad but, it sure shows the basics.........and dan nice music.

  • 5:10 what the shit?

  • and two what if you spill water..

  • i will use anti freeze that doesn't burn

  • that hilti, costs alot of money, howd you afford the rest of the pc after paying hilti money?

  • @MushrumeHedd

If you list several parts of the computer, add them all up, you will get a total of 500-600w if you have top end system. Most people (like me.. lol) have overkilled power supplies because we THINK we don't have enough, but in reality, we have twice enough power.. basically I have about 500w not being used from my power supply. Also it's not bad to have 1000w for a P4 (LOL who would?!) but it will sure kill your electric bill :D

  • can someone pls tell me where i can get all these materials cause i just built a gaming pc and i need to get a 1200w psu and watercooling to sustain it

  • @omgoprah What kind of parts do you have? I highly doubt you need a 1200w psu. Anyhow.. you can find parts on performance-pcs.

  • @lillhonken

Lol a good 750w can do double SLi/Crossfire, I think a good 850 would power a hungry overclockable i7 to good use.

I got a 1200w and it's.. well, a golden brick I can tell you all.

  • I dont have the balls to do this stuff...

  • Dude... listening to the music on this video i thought it was from the 90's but 2006... LOOOOOL! anyway n1.

  • whats the song at 2:29

  • im sure you don't really need to water cool a hard drive ?

  • lord, this video just reeks of 2006.

  • do those tubes have any risk of cracking over time? or being affected by room temperature?---this vs mineral oil cooling system wat do u suggest?

  • can that comp run crysis??

  • @GLuGGycOw =))))))))))))))))))

    really funny

  • Whats the song in 3:27 lease?

  • i imagine this like epic meal time... THROW SOME THERMAL PASTE ON THIS BITCH

  • @cautionthisissparta LMAO! ya that man is blasting those chips with paste

  • hey, im kind of new to the whole water cooling system thing(i know right, im studying to be a computer engineer), can someone tell me how they work? the science behind it i mean

  • what what what he did this all in 5minutes doesnt seem to hard..........

  • I think the music is from Man With No Name or something like that. Man With No Name is Goa Trance artist.

  • HEY BRO WHERE CAN I GET THOSE STUFF

  • very nicely done

  • Nyce work :)

  • as if i have all that stuff in my backyard, lol

  • LoLs @ the adhesive residue between the thermal compound, the chip and the heatspreader!

  • hates the music

  • hello boy ummm where can i get a water cooler??..

  • because the ITC and every thing about it is moving really fast , it makes 2006 feel like 1995 xD , *MEMORIES : 29/3/2011*

  • you sir have a horrible dull case

  • WTF is an elbow?

  • @dunlrock A solid bend, 90 degrees or close to that is usually referred to as a elbow in plumbing I believe.

Guessing it does so in water cooling as well.

  • nice submarine

  • I'd just use rubbing alcohol... HIGHLY EFFECTIVE AND CHEAP!

    Cons: Explosive

  • @glupoi653 its not explosive, its flammable, theres a difference.

  • @Starfleet0 Actually, its explosive. Trust me, a bottle exploded when it was close to flame and burnt all the skin off my hand.

  • @Starfleet0 Extremly high rate of combustion lol

  • this is a joke.. whats the point of having a liquid cooling "system" when the heat sources are connected to the cooling media in a series, might have seen wrong but it looked like the "out" (already heated liquid) from the chipset was the connected to the "in" (supposed to be freshly cooled liquid) and so on..

The longer down the chain you get the liquid has absorbed more heat from the source it just passed and then.. why bother with something like this if its not even done in a proper way?

  • @AOKONE I thought the same thing... Kinda dumb.

  • @shooterman100ps3 yes u buy hydrex liquid then u open the bottle splash it all over your mother board/gpu then drink some of it to make sure it tastes like its ment to......

  • super video

  • wow water colling!!!!

  • hard drive cooler. LOL.

  • To clear things up about LC(Liquid Cooling) There's a way to test the LC system for any type of leakage & even if it does leak onto your MoBo it wont 'explode' since Liquid used in LC is either non/low conductivity. Liquids now come in different colors(& UVactive meaning it reacts to UV Light) & to fully submerge your PC in liquid you need Mineral Oil(Non.conductive) Main parts to LC:CPU & GPU the rest are unnecessary. Compression fittings protect from 95% of leakage. Thumbs Up So ppl will know.

  • whuy is he WCooling a pentium 3!

    GET A LiFE

  • @fadijaved this video is originally from 2003, (I remember watching it back then) so yeah, that explains the dinosaur hardware lol.

  • @fadijaved haha you are a stupid idiot! Thats from 2006!

  • @saske1305 If you watch the end title you'll see it's from 2002. Yup, that's indeed ancient technology.

  • @sonicfan7 oh , now i see, its from 2002! :D

  • @fadijaved This vid is originally from 2002, GET A LIFE.

  • 3:38 As easy as putting a condom on =))

  • @dhiru1602

    you' re disgusting xD

  • its liquid cooling systm u can sink u'r PC in that fluid it wont happen anything pc will continue working fine .

  • How much is a water "colling" system??

  • colling?

  • can you like give us a list of what pieces your using and where to find them :I

  • Comment removed

  • They forgot the water cooling for the DVD-RW.

  • @rupash88trademe You don't need to LC the DVD/CD drive, since it doesn't effect the overall performance of a PC, nor does it even heat up to be Liquid Cooled. Main Parts are usually the CPU and GPU. The RAM and HDD is mainly for "Luxury"/Looks...

  • I would literally shit my pants if it burst in my gaming pc

  • how much does a water cooling system cost?

  • Never got too much into water cooling.

I was always afraid one little gap, hole or something would be lose in the components, and then BOOM, $1,500 computer RUINED.

  • i would never listen to this because he cant even spell cooling........... colling... wtf

  • use beer as cooling liquid !

    wold be cool :P

  • HardDrive ? never saw that one
