I prefer the 2600, but Intellivision is still cool with a good number of timeless classics. Can't stand those overlays, though!

instead of cheaping out and getting the intellivision LIVES!, i want to get a 256% all-original intellivision. after all, getting the compilation thingy just WOULDN'T be the same. pride of ownership and being able to say you have a original intellivision, after all.

Tracking down the controller overlays is a royal pain though! So you can be a 95% collector, and just print the overlays out online. Man, I loved the Intellivision. :)

Actually, a local shop may have a few of them. and i got that intellivision :) just need to grab games and a adapter (don't have a older TV handy.). i'm pretty sure i can get them from aforementioned local shop. after all, i saw a vectrex at it last trip.

got the games off eBay...43 out of 125, with the console (i'll use it as a backup), 2 intellivoice modules, and the overlays!

I never had an Intellivision, but I remember playing one and thinking that it had it's own unique kind of charm.

I liked them too, back in the day. Intellivision was more of a cult following thing, I suppose. Unfortunately, the price and lack of cool arcade games made the Atari VCS a better choice.
