We must realize the Hakka language itself has alot of dialect tone,...I am a Hakka from Kalimantan, Indonesia..Our tone totally different with Taiwan's Hakka.....only some words I could catch up.. BTW, Hakka language is an identity of our origin...wherever and however we are...

@chow2592 Yes, at West Kalimantan, Indonesia. a lot of hakka community and blending with Teow chew speaker. Most of us are the forth generation. Our ancestor was from South China...Ok...Keep preserve our origin and we will not lose our root. GBU

hakka 客家话有很多种, 有些很相似, 有些差远一点, 但是整体来说他们互相可以明白对方或多或少.

I am a hakka, my grandparents were. I learned hakka before any languages. I have no idea what they were saying. I could only understood one word. "red".

Please don't murder the dialet.
